The Lakers paid Kobe for years to basically be paraded around and sell tickets. Since Kobe metastasized and subsequently was removed, the Lakers have shown they have piss poor decision making in the draft, and they have Lavar Ball as another tumor on their collective asses. They've worked out his other kid as if he's even remotely capable of playing on an NBA level. This isn't something Lebron should look at and think "we can build something here".

If he leaves, and I doubt he will (more like everyone else will be released or fired) he will go to Houston or Philly. If he goes to LA, he won't see the Finals again, possibly in his career.

I can see Lebron going to LA, but I don't see him winning shit there. Celtics, Spurs, Rockets and even Sixers are his best bets if he really wants to win.

He has no more time left to help build shit so if he really wants to win he needs to consider the above options. I really don't see him going to LA despite the obvious appeal

He already has gotten stronger and improved his body fat % despite getting some light knee work ...

I would be fine with him 12 10 and 7 as slong as the FT% is above 75% (needs to be above 80 really but its a process) and he gets his 3 pt % over 35%.

Kuzma can score 20 and BI rather have Lozo impacting the game with his defense, rebounding and creating ...

:lol Terrible comparison. Milos wasn't the #2 overall pick like Lonzo was. Milos wasn't billed as the franchise savior like Lonzo was. Nobody's implying that Milos is better than Westbrook like Laker fans are doing with Lonzo.

Im not saying Lonzo will ever be very good or even great. But I do trust former NBA PG's like GP/Baron davis that believe in his potential more than i believe in your assessment or even his daddy. He will never be as good as Lavar says but I doubt he will be bad as you think either ...

But to suggest kuzma is good enough to be the centrepiece for the kawhi trade is laughable. Laker fans aren’t even willing to give up Ingram just because the lakers are used to screwing everyone over and is entitled to it.

Besides, Ingram has the ceiling of a marginal all star type of player, and is likely going to toil in the league like another Wiggins if he’s not on the lakers and laker fans think he’s too good to give up for kawhi.

The lakers really have nothing of value. The Celtics are a much better trading partner

Agreed. Tyreke (if he signs), Lance, and Kuz is a nice punch off the bench. It will be fun to see them run 2nd units off the floor :lol

If Tyreke signs, it may be a prelude to a trade of some of our young core. Hmmm... Is there a disgruntled star that might want to play for the Lakers? :D

Anyone else get the sense LeBron just jumps from team to team to shut up his haters, solidify his legacy, and increase his marketability? Probably the common trend in his career.

1. LeBron can’t win a championship!!! - goes to Miami to win a championship
2. LeBron has no loyalty!!! - goes back to Cleveland to win a championship
3. LeBron is not the GOAT - goes to LA to shut up Kobe fans, by far second to Jordan fans who keep feeling threatened about LeBron’s legacy

LAvengers the sequel coming up in 2019. We may or may not get Kiwi. But as the below tweet thread correctly states, the 2019 FA class is LOADED so we will get somebody to pair with LBJ and the kids. I'd love for it to be Kiwi (to fuck with you farmers forever :lol), but there are other options. Magic flat out said (paraphrasing here) if he doesn't get a star this year or next, Jeannie won't have to fire him because he'd step down. I'm thinking Klay might be a more interesting free agent prospect. Before you laugh, think about it. KD has taken less 2 years in a row. Dr. Dray too has taken less on his current deal (he says he wants a max deal next). Chef had to take less due to his ankle injury issues, but now that he's finally healthy: $200+ million dollar deal. They gonna have to pay to keep that team together. Who's the priority? KD? Dr. Dray? Klay? I think Klay gets the short end of the stick. They are all worth maxes, but I think the pecking order is Chef, KD, Dr. Dray, then Klay. Michael Thompson (his Dad) is a former member of Showtime, so it makes sense for Klay to "come home."

Gonna be an interesting year for my Lakers and an interesting free agent summer next year. :corn:

I think this is being underreported by the East Coast biased media. This tweet doesn't even mention Lonzo (7apg). We got 3 top 10 passers in the NBA to get the ball to scorers (Bron, Beas, Kuz), slashers (Bron, Ingram, KCP, Lance), finishers (Bron, McGee, KCP, Hart, Ingram), and 3pt shooters (Kuz, Hart, Svi, Wagner).

Dubs are known for their ball movement and insane shooting. The Lakers won't shoot the lights out like that, but I'm guessing they'll avg 250+ passes per game (if think Kerr's metric for the Dubs is close to 300). Matter of fact, just about all the players we have can grab a rebound and ignite the break. With the exception of McGee and Zubac, all other players we have are capable of hitting the 3, which is interesting.

For a full 48 minutes we should have a quality playmaker in the game. Even 6'9" Ingram avg about 6apg last year when Lonzo was out.

I'm expecting to shock a lot of teams this year (no predictions yet, just a gut feeling). We have a lot of versatility, length, and athleticism as currently constructed. Gonna be a fun year. :tu
