That's my worry about White. He seems to get injured often.

His game is not predicated on speed or quickness but very talented. He operates in very close proximity to his defenders causing a lot of contact if he goes for too much. If White had Walker's athleticism he would be an allstar. His ceiling is probably average starter or above average 6th man. Good value for a 28th pick imo.

I could see him coming in for garbage time and looking awesome, and folks asking why he doesn't play more. But at the same time, teams need guys to soak up unimportant minutes, especially when they have at least two forwards who are older and need their minutes limited. The Spurs have taken a lot of hits to their front-court depth this summer, so getting a guy you can sign to a cheap three-year deal or even just a versatile guy on a two-way contract would help the roster.

I would always be more worried about soft tissue injuries over bone breaks/fractures.
Although, as Dallas Cowboys fans have seen with Tony Romo: Sometime fractures can just keep on coming.
Thankfully this a less physical sport overall.

My wife's a radiologist. She's been in on a lot of athletes' (nobody of note) X-Ray/MRI/CT results and she has taught me a lot on the subject.
Soft tissue stuff is always worse than breaks, unless it's a catastrophic multiple fracture.

Ya'll are sleeping on Blossomgame, he's clearly the kind of guy who puts the work in. He'll develop into 3 and D role player at some point. He's big and strong and athletic he'll be a plus defender if not this year then the next and I think he'll develop a decent outside shot. He'll never be a great shooter, but I think he can be a PJ Tucker/Mbah a Moute level shooter at worst and keep defenses honest.

Metu has a nice shooting stroke, great foot work and elite athleticism. He just needs to put on more muscle and be more cautious with the ball.

Blossomgame obviously has an NBA body today. I will also say the same for 19 year old Walker. Walker is the Donovan Mitchell of the draft.

agree...unfortunately. Has skills (good shooting, can jump, can defend) but on offense his shot selection is terrible and he doesn't take care of the ball and on defense he's often lost ...also his passing his suspect. I'm doubting his iq but maybe is just lack of experience at this superior level...

As far as Walker the kid is going to be good people forget he is not a top ten draft pick so he is going to need time to grow. He has the physical ability speed, Ball skills, the big thing is now Heart and Work ethic. Those two things will determine how successful he will be in the NBA and in life.

you expect him to be putting up back to back 20 point games? In my opinion he’s shown NBA ready moves, obviously has elite athleticism, consistency will be something he’ll get to work on in Austin his season.
