After you shoot the first of two free throws, whether hit or miss, you touch hands with all your teammates. All of the players on all of the teams do this. It's a standard ritual of the game.

Patty shot the first of two free throws. He touched hands with his teammates in front of him, the ones he could see stepping toward him with their hands out. But Patty didn't turn around. One of the players, it seems either Forbes or DDR, DDR I think, had walked forward from the arc with his hand out, but Patty didn't turn around and touch hands with him. Patty screwed up the free throw ritual.
