What a dilemma. Trumptards main news source and bible for years.
Now he has ordered them to switch.
Are the one's you are aware of switching stations?

Newsmax and OAN are both apparently burning through money and nowhere near profitable. The incoming defamation lawsuit could very well sink one or both of them. There definitely isn’t enough of a market for both regardless of the defamation lawsuits, only one can survive and it’ll be the one Trump backs.

If trumps backs any of the two, expect him to make money off of them and the company will go bankrupt a short time later.
He has business touch of death.

"Fox News Channel's year to date numbers show the network remains on top of the other cable news channels, winning in both daytime and primetime programming and in the all-important age 25 to 54 demographic.
Meanwhile, since the election, Newsmax has seen a decrease in viewership.
And the right-wing network joined Fox News Channel this week in calling Biden 'president-elect' after Monday's Electoral College vote."
Fox was there before and will be there after Trump GTFO the WH. As far as OAN is concerned, it looks like a cheap student channel with a bunch of clueless hotties who have no idea what they're talking about reading Trump's basic propaganda. they'll be dead or return to obscurity soon.

1st president in ages to grow some balls and not put up with Mexicos bullshit porous Southern border then simply passing those Guats etc on up to the US. Ditto China. Some of Trumps trade stances evened the playing field out a bit. I wish he would full on sign up with Taiwan before the Chinks try to Communize it like they are with Hong Kong.

The core base of Trumpsters who will jump off a cliff if Trump asked them to - they were never Fox viewers IMO. They are a mixed bag of deplorables (alt-right, extremists, incels, militia types, conspiracy theorists etc). They came to Fox only because Trump got 24x7 coverage, but their default sources are 4chan, reddit, FB, Twitter etc. They will go back to those sources
The mainstream Fox viewer base of elderly, religious, exurban conservatives will not leave Fox. They watch Fox to get a steady dose of talking points against liberals, atheists, pro-choice, Hollywood, LGBTQ, BLM (insert your favorite bogeyman). Fox will continue to dish this out better than anyone else, and these people will stay to find out how Biden and the Dems are undermining the great USofA. In 5 years they will forget voting for Trump and dutifully rally behind the next R candidate

So? First of all Trump lost by 5 points and given the reality of the two-party system I don't really understand what point you're trying to make here.
Second the GOP in 2016 did not take Trump seriously until after super Tuesday if even then. Look no further than what the DNC does to Bernie Sanders and similar candidates when they turn their attention towards them.

While the Republican establishment will try to thwart Trump and Trump-like candidates, they might not succeed. To go back to your question of the Miller/Bannon influence and spurraider's point about Trump getting 70M + votes, the problem is this: a Trumpist candidate who is able to attract disengaged voters without losing many traditional voters is more likely to succeed than a Romney/McCain type whose only path to victory is shepherding traditional R voters and converting moderate D voters.
Conservatives love to wax eloquent about fiscal prudence, morality and small government but they don't care about those principles in practice. Ultimately they will go with someone they think will teach their enemies a lesson. Look at the evangelicals who never stopped supporting arguably the worst human being to run for office

He still lost by five points to a mediocre candidate that really didn't try for about three months in the campaign.
I get what you're saying to an extent but the general is not indicative of the base and he was not contested in the primaries where you could actually see where the base was at.
At the same time there is a significant portion of the GOP particularly the donors that do not like Trump. If he does run in four years they're not going to wait until the July to start taking him seriously.
I'd be willing to bet that those powers that be are going to be actively working to undermine any potential bid in for years starting right now.

and my point is that no trumpest has ever been challenged by the GOP establishment for a complete election cycle. 4 years after super Tuesday they were legion saying that they never expected this to happen. That won't happen again.
as for the rest the GOP is obviously about power and control more so than anything else. Trump cannot be reliably bought and he has proved that over and over again so in a world if quid pro quo he is not a good candidate.

Vigorous? At first Rubio and Bush were competing with each other and it wasn't until after super Tuesday that they really started taking him seriously.
that was when all the questions about the poll started coming in because none of the polls took him seriously up to that point either.
I remember Priebus after super Tuesday basically saying that Trump's success took them completely by surprise
Heck even Trump himself didn't take his potential to win seriously according to Woodward's work

If I'm the GOP establishment/donor class, 2020 has taught me that the ideal 2024 candidate is one who can continue Trump's policy messaging without behaving like a crass idiot. That means talk about populist, nativist MAGA stuff and forget about the traditional low-tax, small-government playbook. Trump's ability to persuade previously disengaged non-college-educated voters to turn out in droves has meant that OH and IA are now reliably red. His moronic tendencies cost him AZ and GA, but they can be recovered by someone more polished.
If they pick a candidate who can continue speaking to Trump voters without offending others, they will coast to victory in 2024

Trump sold himself as an anti-establishment guy. But his biggest achievements were a tax cut and appointing SCOTUS judges. He delivered nothing on the wall, on trade, on replacing Obamacare, on cutting drug prices.
What he ultimately achieved could have been done by a Jeb Bush, and with maybe ~100k fewer Covid deaths

Trash exposed Repugs as the party of one-party authoritarianism, to add to their appeals to racism, White Male Suprema city, white male grievance identity, misogyny, continued imperial militarism, xenophobia
One-party authoritarianism, as long as it's the oligarchy's party, is preferred by the Capitalist oligarchy which is totally anti-democratic, as is the Constitution.
The oligarchy does not control the House (yet) nor the WH, but they control the scorched-earth obstructionist Senate which will block Dem House (100s of Dem bills will not even be taken up), and they dominate SCOTUS 6-3 and most of the Federal judiciary.
Repugs see Trash pulling 74M voters and are scared to lose them, will pander to them with "Trumpism" to keep the Senate, take back the House, and totally nullify Biden.
When the Repugs control Senate, House, White House and SCOTUS, GAMEOVER.

This has basically been my position for weeks now. Trump is done asa he's leaving the WH... Much less power, attention and visibilty for someone who already lost this election by 7M+ votes against sleepy Joe. He'll keep his hardcore fanbase but will become history for eveybody else, starting by his GOP fellas who won't miss to bury him. He took everyone by surprise 4 years ago but woldn't be able to duplicate it, specially how extreme and crazy he has become. And he knows it. That's before even mentioning potential legal trouble.
JPB totally misjudged that one.
tee, hee.
