The dead-enders like derp have turned to Facebook and fringe conspiracy sites.
What a dilemma. Trump s main news source and bible for years.
Now he has ordered them to switch.
Are the one's you are aware of switching stations?
Donald Trump calls Fox News 'dead' as he steps up feud with network (msn.com)
The dead-enders like derp have turned to Facebook and fringe conspiracy sites.
Newsmax already caved under threat of litigation,
Newsmax and OAN are both apparently burning through money and nowhere near profitable. The incoming defamation lawsuit could very well sink one or both of them. There definitely isn’t enough of a market for both regardless of the defamation lawsuits, only one can survive and it’ll be the one Trump backs.
If trumps backs any of the two, expect him to make money off of them and the company will go bankrupt a short time later.
He has business touch of death.
Chris dumping Fox News for Newsmax just to get on some more.
Pretty rich- that OP - defended trump for years and is now starting threads against his own cult
too late fabbs you own your cult worship
"Fox News Channel's year to date numbers show the network remains on top of the other cable news channels, winning in both daytime and primetime programming and in the all-important age 25 to 54 demographic.
Meanwhile, since the election, Newsmax has seen a decrease in viewership.
And the right-wing network joined Fox News Channel this week in calling Biden 'president-elect' after Monday's Electoral College vote."
Fox was there before and will be there after Trump GTFO the WH. As far as OAN is concerned, it looks like a cheap student channel with a bunch of clueless hotties who have no idea what they're talking about reading Trump's basic propaganda. they'll be dead or return to obscurity soon.
OAN seems to be the network of choice for the trump s I know
Yeah OAN seems like the one more likely to become TrumpTV once Trump is out of office.
fauxnews was already a propaganda channel for the conservatives, I cannot wait to see how those channels can be even less accurate in their reporting
He accomplished some things in the 1st 2 - 3 years.
1st president in ages to grow some balls and not put up with Mexicos bull porous Southern border then simply passing those Guats etc on up to the US. Ditto China. Some of Trumps trade stances evened the playing field out a bit. I wish he would full on sign up with Taiwan before the s try to Communize it like they are with Hong Kong.
When he pooh poohed the virus is when he lost me. Then he acted like a pussy and is still complicit while McConnel and Pelosi teamed up to the country out of any meaningful stimulous.
Right. So does a true Trump still watch Faux knowing they call Joe "president elect" combined with their Hitler like leader Dunceold commanding them to stop watching?
The core base of Trumpsters who will jump off a cliff if Trump asked them to - they were never Fox viewers IMO. They are a mixed bag of deplorables (alt-right, extremists, incels, militia types, conspiracy theorists etc). They came to Fox only because Trump got 24x7 coverage, but their default sources are 4chan, reddit, FB, Twitter etc. They will go back to those sources
The mainstream Fox viewer base of elderly, religious, exurban conservatives will not leave Fox. They watch Fox to get a steady dose of talking points against liberals, atheists, pro-choice, Hollywood, LGBTQ, BLM (insert your favorite bogeyman). Fox will continue to dish this out better than anyone else, and these people will stay to find out how Biden and the Dems are undermining the great USofA. In 5 years they will forget voting for Trump and dutifully rally behind the next R candidate
What concerns me is the question of how many of the Miller and bannon types now have traction in the GOP itself.
what makes you think trump isnt running 2024?
There is a significant section within the GOP that does not like him. For every never Trumper I bet there are half a dozen that feel the same but fell in party line as the GOP normally does.
Trump Hitler Repug checking in
He might. In fact I think he or one of his idiot kids will try. But mainstream Fox viewers really only care about cheering for their team and getting outraged about the opponent - no matter who's leading the R party
even though he lost he just got more votes than any republican candidate ever has in a general election, and its not because joe biden was some historically unlikeable candidate that people just felt compelled to vote against
So? First of all Trump lost by 5 points and given the reality of the two-party system I don't really understand what point you're trying to make here.
Second the GOP in 2016 did not take Trump seriously until after super Tuesday if even then. Look no further than what the DNC does to Bernie Sanders and similar candidates when they turn their attention towards them.
the point im making is that he is still apparently widely supported by the republican voter base
While the Republican establishment will try to thwart Trump and Trump-like candidates, they might not succeed. To go back to your question of the Miller/Bannon influence and spurraider's point about Trump getting 70M + votes, the problem is this: a Trumpist candidate who is able to attract disengaged voters without losing many traditional voters is more likely to succeed than a Romney/McCain type whose only path to victory is shepherding traditional R voters and converting moderate D voters.
Conservatives love to wax eloquent about fiscal prudence, morality and small government but they don't care about those principles in practice. Ultimately they will go with someone they think will teach their enemies a lesson. Look at the evangelicals who never stopped supporting arguably the worst human being to run for office
Crazy how far a simple message of "Our Country First" will get you. I fully accept 4 years of Democrats prioritizing non-Americans, to renergize support for actual domestic leadership
He still lost by five points to a mediocre candidate that really didn't try for about three months in the campaign.
I get what you're saying to an extent but the general is not indicative of the base and he was not contested in the primaries where you could actually see where the base was at.
At the same time there is a significant portion of the GOP particularly the donors that do not like Trump. If he does run in four years they're not going to wait until the July to start taking him seriously.
I'd be willing to bet that those powers that be are going to be actively working to undermine any potential bid in for years starting right now.
