If so, I'm hoping it's because a team is interested and not because LMA is asking/demanding a trade. I think he's got a real chance to be a good bench big, and you never know if he's going to be needed down the line to start. Plus, he basically has one last chance for a decent contract, and putting up good numbers will be more important than starting to that end. Also, if he's not asking out, that would suggest a deal might be close, which would imply the Spurs would be getting something they'd want.

Also could be a stomach bug/rest. With today's NBA, you don't need to risk other guys getting that from him.

Fortunately, we've actually been winning some of the tough games this year which helps even things out.

We will (should) make them up after the second half of the season, that's the way the league planned the season to go from the jump. Every team that's had games postponed should play them eventually - so the Spurs' record right now is misleading, considering those games should've been a handful of wins (especially if no one on the team had gotten COVID and sat out).

And I'd agree that current Keldon would not be able to carry the team on his own as convincingly as Kawhi did. Good call. That spark is there though. I feel like we are in that moment now where Keldon got figured out and we're waiting to see if he has some 2nd gear or a new bag of offensive tricks he can develop to keep defenders guessing. So we will find out just how much spark is there. But the hustle and motor alone, he is a keeper and it's just a matter of how much bonus there is from him.

It's so crazy to seem to already have hit gold on White and Murray and then Keldon came out poppin and that was the moment I got hooked on this roster. So I'll be a bit of a Keldon homer for that reason.

Jak coming along has been an additional treasure to watch. Just insane the development PATFO pulled off in the ashes of neph, Morris, and Bertans fiascos etc.
