Nice. I ran into him at a gas station in Sherman Oaks years ago back when I lived in LA. There's value to be had there tbh even if NIL thins the talent pool. Hell, OKC just won a championship with a bunch of 2nd rounders earning rotation mins throughout the year.

No arguments from me there... I just wish we'd get serious about the second round (as in doing a better job scouting and picking there). Second round has been gold for a few teams (that aren't us)
I can't stand the Spurs continuing to punt these decent seconds. They even got a good one in Tre Jones at #41. Take a chance, there's very little to lose.
Trading #38 is a signal that the Spurs will likely keep #14 imo.

I’m guessing Maluach over Fears for NOP.
I like the Tre fit for Washington. Slots in nicely next to Coulibaly at the 2-3 positions. Sarr at the 5. Good mix of veterans and young guys at the 1 and 4 spots with Middleton, McCollum, Carrington.
The Bailey fit for Utah is actually nice next to Markannen and Kessler in the front court. I still think the Nets will trade with Utah with the 8 pick and a few of those other 4 FRPs the Nets have.
