I think Dylan is smart to know winning is better than individual stats. I feel he was dismissing Copper’s game high with himself playing the “right way” and winning the game. He’s a competitive alpha. What concerns me is how long can they hide him behind Fox, assuming that’s the decision. On paper, Dylan is great as the 6th man Manu. But even Manu had to reconcile with himself before truly embracing coming off the bench. I really hope Spurs win and go deep, which generally would be worth sacrificing individual accolades.
Yeah, I don't think the stuff with Flagg is a big concern and know that Harper is just competitive. Not a big deal, and they also seem to be cool with each other, just players. Ultimately on the team, though, I think egos and touches and playing time among him, Fox, and Castle may become an issue. And not because they're bad dudes but that they will be bumping up against each other's game needs.

I can't believe the Spurs lucked into f'n Dylan Harper
apparently the spurs had the best odds before the 4th ball was drawn
almost got flagg, lucked into Harper

Yup, Spurs had 3 balls (2 from Atlanta, 1 of their own) out of 11 for Cooper Flagg.

Funny how many people here are suddenly saying Harper > Flagg. If we had gotten the #1 pick instead of #2, those same people would be saying the opposite. And we would have a decade-long dynasty in the making.
That said, the fact that we even got Harper at #2, after we had already gotten Wemby at #1 and Castle at #4 really shows that we are the luckiest lottery team in NBA history.

I loved seeing CB's energy on defense and He's showing that he does have that dawg in him on defense. If he focuses and works hard on being a 3 and D type of player the kid is going to have a spot in the NBA.
