after the game that he will (hopefully) be back in less than a week. We'll see.

He has a walking boot for his foot, so I was worried.

Keep your fingers crossed.

As I've said in another thread, he won't be travelling to Minnesota with the team. In his forum he said he will miss at least 2 games and will be day to day after that.

I'm so glad they are letting Gino stay home to rest. And it is even better to hear from him that he is on the mend. Thanks Kori! =)

He could be back MAYBE, MAYBE vs Milwaukee, or more than likely New York.

I would be OK with him being back for Milwaukee, miss the Knicks game.

DEc 17-Sacramento
18-New Orleans

25-I want him play on this one and torture the Pistons, again

right now, i want him to take his rest.

With Finley and NVE, he should stay out about two weeks longer than he thinks he needs to.

I say he abides by a liberal time table of return, and then returns a week after that. Save the Manu. He's been a peach all year, save him.

Finley can take over for the meantime. This is precisely why we got him anyways.

I agree. Why chance it? We saw L Barbosa come back this week from an ankle injury, only to leave in his first game back re-aggravating it. He's now out 2-3 weeks. As deep as this team is, I say rest him as long as you can. Unless they are extremely desirious to get HFA I see no real benefit to getting him back in a weeks time.

yeah, tell Manu to take his time.

we'll just tell Finley to keep his A game and Brent to WAKE UP~!!!:lol

What did the Spurs report his injury as?

What did the Spurs report his injury as?

Sprained foot.

From yesterday...
"Manu went down today in practice with a foot injury, so he definitely will not play for a while," explained Popovich. "A minimum a week would be my guess. He stretched the ligaments across the mid-portion of the top of his foot. He stepped on a player's foot and it just went forward in such a way his foot actually got sprained."

On the bright side I got a nice buzz from my drinking game in the first half. You know, the one where I down a shot every time I yell "Shoot it, Brent" at the TV.

A "certain" San Antonio club? That's incredible! I saw him last night at a "certain" sports arena, in a "certain" suit of a "certain" color, sitting next to a "certain" shooting coach.
