GOOD NEWS!!!!!!!![]()
after the game that he will (hopefully) be back in less than a week. We'll see.
He has a walking boot for his foot, so I was worried.
Keep your fingers crossed.
prob come back for the game VS Indiana on the 27th.
If by miracle? The Christmas day game VS Detroit.
As I've said in another thread, he won't be travelling to Minnesota with the team. In his forum he said he will miss at least 2 games and will be day to day after that.
I'm so glad they are letting Gino stay home to rest. And it is even better to hear from him that he is on the mend. Thanks Kori! =)
He could be back MAYBE, MAYBE vs Milwaukee, or more than likely New York.
I would be OK with him being back for Milwaukee, miss the Knicks game.
the next 5 games, after Minnesota is actually not a heavy schedule...
DEc 17-Sacramento
18-New Orleans
20-Milwaukee
21-New York
23-Toronto
25-I want him play on this one and torture the Pistons, again
right now, i want him to take his rest.
With Finley and NVE, he should stay out about two weeks longer than he thinks he needs to.
i wonder what Manu was wearing while on bench? I don't remember him wearing a suit![]()
He was wearing a suit and sitting behind the bench.
thanks Kori, well, I'd go check some sites if he looks good in it .
I saw him. He looked fantastic!![]()
GTG at the Ginobili home!![]()
I say he abides by a liberal time table of return, and then returns a week after that. Save the Manu. He's been a peach all year, save him.
Finley can take over for the meantime. This is precisely why we got him anyways.
I agree. Why chance it? We saw L Barbosa come back this week from an ankle injury, only to leave in his first game back re-aggravating it. He's now out 2-3 weeks. As deep as this team is, I say rest him as long as you can. Unless they are extremely desirious to get HFA I see no real benefit to getting him back in a weeks time.
HG or RG or even Best record advantages cannot guarantee you the le...
yeah, tell Manu to take his time.
we'll just tell Finley to keep his A game and Brent to WAKE UP~!!!![]()

You can see a picture of Ginobli in his suit at this link (getty images).
What did the Spurs report his injury as?
Sprained foot.
From yesterday...
"Manu went down today in practice with a foot injury, so he definitely will not play for a while," explained Popovich. "A minimum a week would be my guess. He stretched the ligaments across the mid-portion of the top of his foot. He stepped on a player's foot and it just went forward in such a way his foot actually got sprained."
Weve been waiting for him to wake up since November of 04.we'll just tell Finley to keep his A game and Brent to WAKE UP
Hes not waking up.
The guy flat out stinks.
Thats just the reality of the situation.
we got finley as a contingency against exactly this sort of thing
i'm worried about tim more than manu
maybe his ed up fascii prevented him from getting a wide open set shot (ft) to fall
i'm steadily accepting this as fact as the weeks go on
thanks much!
yeah he looks fantastic![]()
he buried one team with his 3s a week ago...
it's just that he's not consistent.
You must of missed the 2005 WCF vs the Suns or Game 7 vs my Pistons. I take it you dont watch many games after that lame ass comment.
