Mother, Daughter Arrested For Allegedly Running Brothel

SAN ANTONIO -- A mother and daughter were arrested Monday for allegedly running a brothel out of their home, authorities said.

The San Antonio Police Department vice unit broke the case in the 3600 block of San Luis on the city's west side.

Vangie Fuentes, 22, was arrested and charged with prostitution, possession of cocaine and not having a massage permit.

Her mother, Delia Fuentes, 53, was charged with promotion of prostitution.

The vice squad said they got involved after neighbors started writing down license plate numbers back in June after they noticed lots of men coming in and out of the home.

"All it is is massaging," said Vangie Fuentes. "I have a lot of people who are saying different stuff. I didn't even know you were supposed to have one (permit)."

Police said Delia Fuentes was the mastermind.

"She was taking the money, setting up the dates," said Joe Rios, of the SAPD. "She's been arrested for promotion of prostitution. We have two arrests and multiple city code violations for operating a message parlor out of a residence without a permit."

Police said Vangie lived next door to her mother and would walk over to perform sex acts inside her mother's home.

While detectives were inside, they said the phone rang constantly.

They also believe the mother and daughter were running their prostitution business on the Internet.

"I didn't know it was a whorehouse, but we got schools on both sides, you know," said neighbor Maria Terrazas. "We have to protect our neighborhood and our kids."

The illegal activity went on near two schools, said police.

Cleto Rodriguez Elementary and St. Martin's Hall are next to the home.

The SAPD vice squad has over 75 license plate numbers of the alleged "Johns" and are now in the process of tracking them down for possible prosecution.

:lol when my youngest was in kinder, we used to call this one lady stripper mom (her daughter was in my son's class). She had a total model body but she wasn't cute. She'd pick her kid up in daisy dukes and the cleavage hanging out.

I have a sister-in-law like that. She's almost 40 but dresses like she is 18, a slutty 18. She uses the fake-n-bake tanning bed every day to the point that her skin is now looking leathery. She's had her lips done, her boobs done, her teeth done, had the permanent makeup tatoos, her hair is dyed jet black. She lives in the gym, and should look good, but actually just looks odd.
