Mother, Daughter Arrested For Allegedly Running Brothel

SAN ANTONIO -- A mother and daughter were arrested Monday for allegedly running a brothel out of their home, authorities said.
The San Antonio Police Department vice unit broke the case in the 3600 block of San Luis on the city's west side.
Vangie Fuentes, 22, was arrested and charged with pros ution, possession of cocaine and not having a massage permit.
Her mother, Delia Fuentes, 53, was charged with promotion of pros ution.
The vice squad said they got involved after neighbors started writing down license plate numbers back in June after they noticed lots of men coming in and out of the home.
"All it is is massaging," said Vangie Fuentes. "I have a lot of people who are saying different stuff. I didn't even know you were supposed to have one (permit)."
Police said Delia Fuentes was the mastermind.
"She was taking the money, setting up the dates," said Joe Rios, of the SAPD. "She's been arrested for promotion of pros ution. We have two arrests and multiple city code violations for operating a message parlor out of a residence without a permit."
Police said Vangie lived next door to her mother and would walk over to perform sex acts inside her mother's home.
While detectives were inside, they said the phone rang constantly.
They also believe the mother and daughter were running their pros ution business on the Internet.
"I didn't know it was a house, but we got schools on both sides, you know," said neighbor Maria Terrazas. "We have to protect our neighborhood and our kids."
The illegal activity went on near two schools, said police.
Cleto Rodriguez Elementary and St. Martin's Hall are next to the home.
The SAPD vice squad has over 75 license plate numbers of the alleged "Johns" and are now in the process of tracking them down for possible prosecution.

Honestly I don't see how they could prosecute someone based on that information, sounds more like scare tactics to me...

I'm sure that alot of people will decry this as a breakdown in the moral fabric of society, but let's not forget that this brought a mother and daughter together! How can something that good be a crime?

When I first saw the le of this thread I wondered if it was going to be a mom from my daughter's school. We call her "Hooker Mom". She showed up for Parent/Teacher night and all the moms and dads just about fell out of their seats. She walked in in her ed heels, tights jeans, overly tanned body, bleached fried hair with bad roots. She had on way too much makeup, her hair was teased and messed up like she just got out of bed. She had a boob job and was wearing a really low cut tank thingy. She was skinny but her arms were saggy from too many years of tanning. :vomit
