No, I mean W won't last 3 more years. I expect Cheney to take a siesta sometime next year. His excuse will be health reasons, but really Fizgerald will, by then, be breathing down his spiny neck. Whomever gets the nod to replace Cheney will be the likely candidate for the Republicans in 08.

Condi would be a likely choice, but I wouldn't rule out Giuliani.

MSNBC poll (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10562904): Do you believe President Bush's actions justify impeachment?

Yes, between the secret spying, the deceptions leading to war and more, there is plenty to justify putting him on trial.
88%

No, like any president, he has made a few missteps, but nothing approaching "high crimes and misdemeanors."
3%

No, the man has done absolutely nothing wrong. Impeachment would just be a political lynching.
7%

I don't know.

Great. Three more years of a limp dick president who couldn't get gas passed, let alone any appreciable legislation, by the congress of his own party. Three cheers for stagnation.

In your fondest dreams. Know what I would like, the Fitzgerald's investigation be extended to include all the NSA leaks. Now wonder how
many would start seeking cover. Phlame (sp) looked good in PJ's didn't
she......like drug through a knot hole backwards.

"obstructionism."

see Repubs vs Clinton in the 90s, including shutdown of the US govt.

This week we see some Repub politicians voting against dubya/dickhead (and all their evil doings and Repub corruption and incompetence) because their voters have turned against dubya/dickhead as no longer credible and war as no longer supportable. dubya has no political capital to spend. All of this has NOTHING to do with the Democrats.

IMHO the only, and I mean the ONLY, good thing about keeping King George in office is the succession. I mean, who would we have--Cheney? Hastert? Fucking RICE for God's sake?

George is dangerous, but he's dumb and dangerous, and that beats smart and dangerous any day.

Not always. Hitler was not an exceptionally smart man.Hitler was a brilliant tactitioner, and an accomplished politician. To say he wasn't smart is simply not accurate. The guy was seriously fucked up in the head, but he was brilliant at what he did. You can't compare Bush to Hitler, Bush is nowhere near as smart as Hitler, nor is he anywhere near as fucked up in the head.

The fact of the matter is that Democrats are Aggie-like in their gutlessness, and have neither the talent nor the intelligence to win jack shit, and the Republicans represent soulless evil ass rich fuckheads who are the perfect combination of overzealousness and stupidity. The Democrats are practically helping Republicans look good by looking so spineless.

Big Bush Lies: Bush Lies, Then McClellen Lies In Cover-Up Attempt, Jerry Politex

"A federal judge has resigned from the court that oversees government surveillance in intelligence cases in protest of President Bush's secret authorization of a domestic spying program, according to two sources....At the White House, spokesman Scott McClellan was asked to explain why Bush last year said, "Any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so." McClellan said the quote referred only to the USA Patriot Act." --Washington Post, Dec. 21, '05.

This is not true. Bush was explaining that there was no difference between wiretaps before the Patriot Act and wiretaps after the Patriot Act: "Now, by the way, any time you hear the United States government talking about wiretap, it requires -- a wiretap requires a court order. Nothing has changed, by the way. When we're talking about chasing down terrorists, we're talking about getting a court order before we do so. It's important for our fellow citizens to understand, when you think Patriot Act, constitutional guarantees are in place when it comes to doing what is necessary to protect our homeland, because we value the Constitution." This was a lie, given the New York Times story on the subject on Dec. 16 and Bush's admission on December 17: "On Friday, the New York Times revealed that, after the 2001 terrorist attacks, Bush authorized the NSA to eavesdrop inside the United States without court-approved warrants. The newspaper said thousands of people may have had their phone calls and e-mail monitored as a result. Bush, appearing angry during his radio address, called the program lawful and crucial to safeguarding America from further attacks." --Houston Chronicle.

Yep, Dumbya's words before he thought we would find out, now he's singing a different tune to justify His decietfulness, lies, and corruption. They're His words and Will be used against Him as they should be, don't get mad at the DimmoCraps. :tu

I easily predict 7 more years of Republican domination. I wish that wasn't true but the alternative keeps getting the Republicans elected. There's no better campaign manager than NBADAN and the rest of his cronies.

I predict you won't see a Democrat in the White House or a Democratically controlled Congress until...well...never.

They've turned into a socialists party. Those Democrats who escape the party will become something else. The name "Democrat" has been ruined.
