Look at the big picture, what did our defense do to their offense? Does this game really mean THAT much? We won five games in a row before this, we have to lose eventually. I'd gladly take one loss for every five games won in a season. The margin for error was very slim at the end of a tight Suns home game. The Spurs D'd up very nicely to take a lead on Horry's two 3s. When the Suns hit a couple of big shots, the Spurs made a couple of mistakes that cost them the game. Timmy knew he blew it with that turnover. Yes Diaw fouled Timmy on that last feed on the post but I thought NVE should have taken the 3 there.

All in all, I was pleased with the effort the Spurs reached down for in the 4th. I was disappointed with the mental errors/turnovers. They obviously lost some of their energy to close out the 3rd and early 4th pd. The loss stings a bit but then again, I didn't expect the Spurs to win tonight.

So, for the record, you are saying that the Suns are a better team with Diaw instead of Amare?
