I've always had a level of respect for the Spurs from a distance. But naturally, my familiarity and love grew more since playing against them in the Finals, and joining SpursTalk. Without league pass, I only get to see the national telecast of Spur games. So this community gives me more contact with whats going on w/ your team. And the more I know about the Spurs, yes, the more I do like them!!!

Good idea...We will be playing you guys in June. Should be a great series, though the only ones watching will be true connoisseurs of TEAM Basketball, not the sycophants of LeBron and Kobe.

I leaned over to my mom the other night and said, Ya know, I really cant say I dont like anyone on the Pistons.
Rasheed Wallace, yeah cause hes a big mouthed punk.
But I like, Rip, I like Chauncey, I think Tayshaun is a great guy.
I can't honestly say I don't NOT like anyone on their team. SO feeling is Mutual.
Looks like on League pass we get the home broadcast tonight.

How are things at LSU??
I can't watch the game right now, I see Nazr is 0-3. Is this a case of him just pressing to hard because he is actually getting a chance? 4 rebounds in 6 minutes is very nice though. Also, check out the value of a defensive rebound =

Spurs win at least but agreed this should not have been this close. Re-match on Monday and the Grizz will be motivated but at least we got MANU BACK!

It's only one game...and Memphis is by no means a scrub team, but you've got to put a team down when you're that close to winning it.
And, how many times can you say "It's only one game"?
eh??

Good luck for the rest of the season. Quite frankly, you all have a lot of work to do.

OMFG WTF?
How did a nice little 10+ point cushion just get completely erased in 3 minutes?

well yeah, hence the difference between a team that will probably win it all this year (Pistons) and a team that may not even get out of the WCF (Spurs)

You score only 80 vs Memphis? Quite frankly, you suck. You have no one worthy of all star status yet you perpetually pimp them up. Weak at best, quite frankly.

Spurs went cold in the 4th, Grizz got hot, Spurs lose 4th 19 - 25.
Ugly blowing of 15 pt lead.
I guess the Grizz will really want Mon night's game.
Spurs aren't out of their swamp, yet.

Some positive stuff in this game whether you want to see it or not.
Manu looks healthy and was extremely effective. Finley played well off the bench. The Spurs executed when they had to do so.
There's some problems, but I'll wait until after the Rodeo Road trip before I worry about this team.

Quite frankly, I think not. I would have to disagree with you on the purposefulness and motivation of this entity you call a team. They may not even make it to the weak western conference finals this year, quite frankly.

The Spurs have no offensive game plan. They continue to run isolation whether up top or on the side. No screens, nothing.
Memphis scored on screen roll over and over again, thankfully the Spurs had a big enough lead to hold them off.

well yeah, hence the difference between a team that will probably win it all this year (Pistons) and a team that may not even get out of the WCF (Spurs)Let's not go overboard here. The Pistons sucked ass far worse in 04-05 than we have this year due to their title hangover and were still in the thick of things right down to game 7. Let's see how the season plays out before we hand out the rings in January eh?

Sure, lots of good stuff, no problem seeing it.
Manu being Manu, Michael hitting some shots, Tony hitting some jumpers
but it almost went all for naught with an ugly W @at&t.
In spite of Tim limping, he's able to play pretty well.

Well I'm of the thought that when a team is ailing and still coming together that some hard-fought ugly wins aren't a bad thing. Sometimes those are things that make them grow stronger and more focused.
In March, I'd like to see some step-on-your-throat blow out wins. But right now I don't mind some ugly games.
One of Nazr or Rasho (or both) needs to get on track though. Maybe they should alternate starts until one of them steps up.

I was more pleased OVERALL with what Nazr brought tonight, than Rasho.
Nesterovic has gone straight ass downhill month by month.
