The NBA says it will debut new "I Love This Game" promotional spots on TNT Thursday night.
One of the two new spots features popular San Antonio Spurs guard Manu Ginobili.
The Ginobili spot was slated to break during TNT's telecast of the Minnesota Timberwolves-Golden State Warriors game. Another spot, this one featuring Miami Heat center Shaquille O'Neal, was scheduled to run for the first time during his team's Thursday encounter with the Boston Celtics.
The spots were produced by NBA Entertainment and incorporate quotes from inspirational figures. NBA officials say the promotional ads focus on the game itself. Previous spots have focused on fans and celebrities.
Upcoming spots will feature Los Angeles Lakers guard Kobe Bryant, New Jersey Nets guard Vince Carter, Philadelphia 76ers guard Allen Iverson and Denver Nuggets guard Earl Boykins.
