i'm not about to use the mavs injuries as an excuse because all teams have injuries, some more than others and i'm sorry but the mavs have had more injuries than the spurs...duncan is reported to be 90%, he's even said so himself and how long does the flu last? 2-3 days at most last time i checked, this was the case last game so i doubt he's still in the throes of the flu...also, since when does a small gash on your head preclude you from playing a game?...manu out 1/2 the season? might wanna check how many games he's been out, i think it's a little less but i would count this one as being valid, he's not quite the same as last season...as for horry, he (and van exel) are bench players, not quite as important as ginobili being out

Then Mavs catch up thanks to Terry and Howard who are shooting like crazy, rest of Mavs are sucking. To end the half, there was a tech fest, Manu (yes, Manu) gets one, Pop gets one, then Howard gets one, and Avery didn't want to feel left out so he gets one. Spurs end up being up by 2, 53-51.

Mavs fans are bitching about officiating and already making excuses. Some Spurs fans are biting the bullet and retaliating.

Hedo and Evans were the ones fighting for the rebound, which ended up in Dices hands. He shot the ball, but was undercut by Hedo. No foul. It was let go because it looked like Evans pushed him a bit.
