hey guys sorry i havent posted all day but i have been depressed ever since boner hit that three. as soon as he made it i knew the game was over. without our best player artest and then not having bonzi after him fouling out. I will be at game three cheering on my team and hopefully they can get over this tough loss and im sure they will with that amazing fanbase right behind them. if fans didnt know who kevin martin was before this series they sure as hell know who he is now. i also think tim duncan is to slow to guard SAR on the low block. i know timmy was in foul trouble when reef was going off but i have seen even in the regular season that timmy cant guard him. i think bonzi is to strong for manu or finley to guard and i think he can score pretty consistently on them. as for bibby and brad i heard on the kings radio station that they were in the practice facility shooting shot after shot. so hopefully they can snap out of it. dont get me wrong i know you guys have alot of matchups in your favor but i strongly believe that with arrest back, oops i mean artest i think we have a strong chance of evening the series at 2 apiece.GO KINGS!!!!!!!!!!

Has SAR ever had trouble scoring down low or on the baseline when he's in a groove? Same goes for Bonzi one-on-one. That's why I was concerned before the series got started that these iso matchups were tough for the Spurs. Wherever Bonzi, SAR and KT have played, they have given the Spurs problems. The only way to disrupt Bonzi and SAR's rhythm is to double them hard (with variation) and force them to pass.

Chris

I don't think anyone can guard Bonzi when he's in the zone. He's very quick for a big man. Could be big problems for us when we go to Sac-town.

You're right, I mean all SAR's scoring did come when Tim was just sattled with 5 fouls.

SAR and Bonzi have always played well against the Spurs, particularly SAR, they've also almost always been on the wrong end of the scoreboard at the end of the game, despite playing well from an individual and statictical POV...that's important. Their individual success has seldom translated to team success...

Glenn Robinson for example was a guy who usually played well and usually beat us...that's the kind of player that scares me....a guy who dominates us and has a habit of beating us...Bigg Dogg, AI...

Bonzi and SAR's succes against us has been more similar to the type of success Steve Nash has had against us, always puts up huge numbers against us too...but it never translates to wins.

Hopefully Artest will take away shots from Bonzi and Shareef, like he did in game 1. The way those two played, I'd much rather see Ron, with his sprained thumb, taking shots all night long.

"Kid" came to "Play" in game 2. Doubtful for a repeat performance... he had the element of surprise on his side because I bet not even Pop thought to prepare for that. Should be well prepared for game 3. I want to see if Bonzi and SAR can keep up the low block work. If they can it will be another very tight game. If they can't it may not be so tight.

spurs always play better with their "backs against the wall." i know their backs arent really against the wall but given the circumstances of the last game(almost losing at home without artest) compared to the next game(on the road with artest), it seems like the odds are in the kings' favor. But spurs always play those types of games better than the ones where, for example, a star player is out for the other team, because they take the team for granted.

I kinda like how we have several Kings visitors this week--adds color to the Playoff Season. If they stick around , and if we eventually do put away the Kings, we'll move on to the Mavs and it'll be pretty funny to have both Kings and a hoard of Mavs fans surrounding us...Then if we put away the Mavs, well you know the rest....It'll be like we started a collection of conquered fans into the Finals. :lol

So far they're being obnoxious to specific posters, but eh, (namely T Park) I haven't seen too much trollish postings. Besides from what I've read on past posting, he's used to it--and that's from his own kind. :lol T Park's a big boy...so who cares. Most of the cowtown posters have taken the 2 losses so far with stride and still believe in the Kings without being Homerish about it. So Keep it up.

I guess this is what you resort to talking about to divert yourself away from getting beaten in the playoffs. Who gives a shit if this guy makes money or doesn't? I don't know the guy and don't care. Ok, better. That's not going to happen, but better. Let me ask you something - do you really feel the Kings will win this series, or are you merely hoping for a win or two to stave off humiliation? Just want to know what you think is probable...

Kings will not win game 3 because of Brad Miller's lack of help defense. I come to expect help defense from Diop and Dampier on the mavs but when I watch the kings I realize what they aren't doing on defense and it is killing them.

Ok, better. That's not going to happen, but better. Let me ask you something - do you really feel the Kings will win this series, or are you merely hoping for a win or two to stave off humiliation? Just want to know what you think is probable...Had game two been taken by the Kings, I would say they had a 35% chance to take the series. Down 0-2 though, I'd say a 9% chance. My expectations aren't that high, although, as a fan, of course I want them to win the series. I understand that this team is still finding its identity and still getting used to playing with eachother. Your Spurs core has been together a while now, so chemistry is expected. I can't say the same for the Kings. I honestly don't know which team will show up tonight, the pussy Kings from game 1 or the fired up Kings from game 2.

Kings will not win game 3 because of Brad Miller's lack of help defense.Brad Miller will be quickly put on the bench like last game if he shows up with his all too often seen vagina.

The % shouldn't even have been that high to start. Maybe around 10-15%. Of course, in my head that's still the third highest chance in the west, behind Dallas (probably about 45%) and Phoenix (about 35%).

Which is why I think the Spurs are losing the finals this year.

But I'm going to yell and scream at my TV for them to win it all :D

If Brad Miller shows up tonight and contributes I will give him a lifetime supply of Copenhagen, and my bitch T Park will pay for it.
