I play at Ancira twice a week, and the fields are pretty dang nice. Perfectly chalked/groomed, they're lighted with covered pavilions and TVs and such.

A heads up, though, it's $1.50 to get in - playing or watching, it doesn't matter. And, I don't know what day you guys are playing, but parking gets pretty bad on weeknights at about 8, because every volleyball court is packed.

I would take 37 south to Pecan Valley, then take Pecan Valley up to Hiawatha and take a left. The parking lot and fields will then be on your left. It is probably a bit longer this way, but it is simpler.

Katy takes direction really well. On her last AB, I told her to hit it down the 1B line since the RF (while Angel said she looked athletic, had no athletic ability) probably couldn't throw.

We did really well in the field. I had that one grounder I fucked up and we had a ball that went over the outfields heads, but other than that I can't think of any fuck ups. I was very impressed.

It is awesome that our middle infield is so good between the girls. I dig it a lot.

I'll submit one suggestion:

I need to be lowered in the batting lineup and LJ and/or Chris should be put ahead of me. Whitney and I went and practiced after the game and I think I have it all worked out, but until I figure it out in the game, I should be lowered and other people more deserving should be raised. I left a rediculous amount of people on base today and it will kill our team in a close game.

Commentary:

Kori thinks LJ is the best hitter on the team, but I think that's disputable. Chris and Matthew had good debuts. I still have something to say about that in the future, but we will see. Also, I especially can't forget Brandon and Andrew. Those two are awesome hitters. This game I know I went 0-3 and LJ had at least 1 solid hit so he's definitely ahead of me so far.
