I need to get my bands adjusted but I don't want to just take my vehicle to any idiot, and I don't want people to try and BS me into things I know I don't need.

Anyhow can anyone recommend a good transmission shop?

TIA

I need to change the water pump on one of my vehicles. Can they handle that?

Nevermind, looks like the dealership does it, at least the competent ones do...

Yea I got burned last time for 1800 bucks on 300zx tranny at Atlas. I don't even know if they went out of business. Stick to a good dealer.

At least you can enforce the short warranty with them.. Atlas tried to screw me but I wound up dumping the whole car just because it was a hassle.

Whatever you do, NEVER go to "Discount Transmission" a.k.a. "Sgt. Clutch".

orale.. take your pinche coche to Tito's Transmission Chop.... they will fix your coche for cheap, and they sell fritos there.

Whatever happens at a Transmission Shop, stays at a Transmission Shop.

I don't think there are any good ones out there, unfortunately.

The thing with automatics.... shadetrees tend to get contamination in the fluid system.

It's just not engineered for anything but proper tools and procedures. An engine is much more forgiving.. it will just crush up anything and or the filter will pull bad stuff in.
