Let me ask James Brolin...
I need to get my bands adjusted but I don't want to just take my vehicle to any idiot, and I don't want people to try and BS me into things I know I don't need.
Anyhow can anyone recommend a good transmission shop?
TIA
Let me ask James Brolin...
you might want to PM the sone.
Any reason why?
he knows a guy.
Let me guess It's ZStomp![]()
Por que?
Because the guys I took mine to spoke Spanish, but did an awesome job.
I need to change the water pump on one of my vehicles. Can they handle that?
I am sure they can. They are very good.
In that case email me their info. I need to get this car fixed so that I can get it out of the way...![]()
Thanks in advance
Thank you Sweetie![]()
Nevermind, looks like the dealership does it, at least the competent ones do...
Yea I got burned last time for 1800 bucks on 300zx tranny at Atlas. I don't even know if they went out of business. Stick to a good dealer.
At least you can enforce the short warranty with them.. Atlas tried to screw me but I wound up dumping the whole car just because it was a hassle.
Whatever you do, NEVER go to "Discount Transmission" a.k.a. "Sgt. Clutch".
orale.. take your pinche coche to o's Transmission Chop.... they will fix your coche for cheap, and they sell fritos there.
Whatever happens at a Transmission Shop, stays at a Transmission Shop.
I don't think there are any good ones out there, unfortunately.
Harry's Automotive on Culebra just past Ingram on the left hand side. Ask for Mark he will take care of you. He's my buddy. They do everything there. There Opened late
The thing with automatics.... shadetrees tend to get contamination in the fluid system.
It's just not engineered for anything but proper tools and procedures. An engine is much more forgiving.. it will just crush up anything and or the filter will pull bad stuff in.
let me know if you wanna use my guy...
zstomp has used him since 94' and ive used him since i moved back to sa. hes always cheaper then anywhere else for any job ive taken to him. but he only speaks el spanich!!
