She's probably gaining too much weight - pregnant women in the first trimester generally only need to add about 300 calories per day to their normal diet. Now women will nearly double their volume of blood, and that can create dizziness and need for more food as can growth spurts.

But she's just letting herself go with whatever sounds tasty and using pregnancy as an excuse.
