Any photo choppers out there?

I can't seem to find Slomo, I think it may be 3Am in Russia, so if anyone here has any photoshop skills? I have a question. I have a banner with lightning and fire but as soon as I add the text or a logo, the animation stops.

Is it cuz I am using the trial version of EasyGif and that feature is only for the paid version ,or is it something else? feel free to try the free 30 day softwear for yourself if you need to see what I am doing wrong

OK you're creating layers with the flames and the txt together. If you do that you must take care that you also change the background flames. Anyway you are doing it the hard way.

in imageready, look at the animation frame by frame and see what happens to the different layers (specially the layers with the txt on a transparent background).

I found out that when I slow down the animation I used up more frames and the file gets bigger. The Banners are comming out over 1MB each. That is going to kill my Banner making buisness since I hardly have 50 MB to play with. I think I will stick to plan non animated Banners.

Did you ever get to try out that EasyGif animator yet?Well you should just throw away everything else and install Photoshop CS and Imageready CS. These are the two things you need to do everything pictures.

I've seen quite a few programs that claim they are easier to use and give the same result, but its usually a lie. They are either more complicated or don't let you do what you want.

Don't be put off by all the options in photoshop. Those you don't understand you just ignore and move on. For animation it's very simple, you put each of the elements you want to anim on a separate layer and then you finish the anim in imageready. You'll have full control over all the elements of your anim.

Have you ever tried - gone through -the anim gif tutorial I sent you the link sometimes ago?

I haven't tried the easygif animator because it's not licence free and we have very strict policies about software on the company's PCs. But it doesn't change the fact that I can do a gif better and faster with imageready than with any software similar to easygif.

The Adobe CS asked for a password so I will have to look for the box it came in :smokin

But have you heard of Dream Suite? and I found After Affects ,Boom toon ,and Magix movie maker. Are all those a waste of HD space?

As far as I know Adobe requires a password, but does not have a mandatory registration process, so your "friends" might get away with it. Anyway you do not need to worry about it since you have the box.

I don't really have a stash, when I need something I go and look for it on Google images and Flickr.

The bling effect is easy it's the same spark copy/pasted on several layers and then thos layers are animated. Fet imageready and photoshop and lovely designs like that will hold no secret for you :lol

Yes the sparkle part of the bling looks to be about 8 frames of the same effect, but the silver part that is supposed to look like the diamond is tricky, I don't think I can learn that over night.

Seriously, open any of these gifs in imageready and each frame will be on its own layer, you can then save them in .psd format and do whatever you want with them very easily (yes even the logo change :flipoff).

The water effect is the ripple effect from photoshop applied several times with different offsets - again easy.

All the best stuff is usually done in those two programs (which btw complement each other) so stop playing around and start using/learning those two.
