You would think that in a country of 270+ million, we could actually find 2 viable candidates that are actually qualified for this job. Perhaps we need to rethink how we choose our candidates. Maybe we need to go into the private sector and pull out a couple of GMs or CEOs of successsful companies or sports teams that know how to run on a budget and keep the stockholders happy. All I know about this guy is that he spoke at the Dem convention, is apparently articulate, just got elected to congress (senate I think), and that everyone is ridin his jock... The reason everone is so high on him is because he gave his opponent a royal asswhipping...he got like 70% of the vote or something...and he was one of the few new Democrats to win a government seat.
