Guys/Gals,

I'm from the old school. I'm 34 years old, but look 24, hee-hee...anyhow...
Growing up in the good ole' 80's, I've seen the Spurs' logo change from the old school, to the fiesta colors, to the current one. I don't know, but I really to prefer the old school logo. It's clean and simple. I'm I alone on this?

No. Its my favorite.

The current one is cool though, better than that fiesta color bullshit.

Logoserver.com is a great site for current, past and never-used logos from all teams in all major sports, college and pro.

Well...being in your age range, I can identify with seeing alot of change throughout the years but not necessarily great change. It's un-Spur like to say, but I'm not necessarily happy with our image. Yes, it's simple and masculine...just not flashy enough to envoke a true WOW look. Would I rather be us than the Wizards? Fuck yes. But do I envy team logos like the Cavs/Suns/Magic's logos? Kinda.

I think that the current one is the best. Stays true to the original silver and black motif, while giving it a modern twist.

i like the way the spur looks now then it did back in the day, plus they better not change it cause i got the newer looking spur tatted on my arm lol

The fiesta colored on is the best. It still gives me chills cuz it reminds me of a playoff series vs Utah. No championships, no respect, dome packed as hell, 35k+ exploding with boos everytime Malone got the ball in the post, etc

The newer one is good, but sometimes less is more. I like and miss the old logo.

Ugh, I remember those. As bad as those were, it was not the worst logo change ever. Hockey's New York Islanders went from this...

It was around the same time of the barbaro Pistons logo too. Thankfully, they changed it back.

I love the Fiesta logo. I like the way the paint looked in the dome. I still wear a black Spurs cap with that logo. It adds flash to the silver and black. And I don't know what some of you are talking about; alternate Fiesta uniforms would be incredible!
