I'm from the old school. I'm 34 years old, but look 24, hee-hee...anyhow...
Growing up in the good ole' 80's, I've seen the Spurs' logo change from the old school, to the fiesta colors, to the current one. I don't know, but I really to prefer the old school logo. It's clean and simple. I'm I alone on this?

Well...being in your age range, I can identify with seeing alot of change throughout the years but not necessarily great change. It's un-Spur like to say, but I'm not necessarily happy with our image. Yes, it's simple and masculine...just not flashy enough to envoke a true WOW look. Would I rather be us than the Wizards? yes. But do I envy team logos like the Cavs/Suns/Magic's logos? Kinda.
I think that the current one is the best. Stays true to the original silver and black motif, while giving it a modern twist.

i like the way the spur looks now then it did back in the day, plus they better not change it cause i got the newer looking spur tatted on my arm lol

The fiesta colored on is the best. It still gives me chills cuz it reminds me of a playoff series vs Utah. No championships, no respect, dome packed as , 35k+ exploding with boos everytime Malone got the ball in the post, etc

The newer one is good, but sometimes less is more. I like and miss the old logo.
Just think of the alternative jersey colors if the old logo stuck.

Ugh, I remember those. As bad as those were, it was not the worst logo change ever. Hockey's New York Islanders went from this...I feel ya! I had to root for a teal team with Barbaro on fire.....

It was around the same time of the barbaro Pistons logo too. Thankfully, they changed it back.
Man the 90s were a VERY scary time for sports logos.
