Nate Kaeding should die because Drayton Florence acted like a complete jackass and Marlon McCree got owned by Troy Brown?

Who missed the field goal? LT? Shotty? Rivers?

He headbutted the dude. I don't care what came before that. It was a ridiculous decision; the Chargers had the Patriots stopped and instead of just walking back the huddle, Florence decided it was time to run some noise and got called for it -- appropriately.

Who could have gotten him better FG position? 50+ yds is a crap shoot, imho.

A 54-yard field goal? Why not ask Rivers to complete a 15 yard sideline pass first?

Because it's much easier to make a scapegoat of a kicker who nearly made a field goal that's hardly a gimme.

What game were you watching? He got facemasked and talked some shit. There was no headbutt. He got hit in the face for talking shit, and he gets the penalty? Again, bullshit.

Don't talk shit. Go back to the huddle, content that your defense just got a stop. It's the playoffs. Don't act the fool. It's pretty simple.

Come on Sanity, it isn't fair to blame this all on Kaeding.
How many first half drives did the Chargers have in NE territory that came up empty? They squandered excellent field position for much of the first half. How about all of the dropped passes that would've changed the outcome? The silly call to go for it on 4th and 11 in the 1st quarter forgoing a 48 yard attempt?
Frankly, the Chargers were lucky to even be in a position to win with all of the mistakes they made.

I don't blame it all on Kaeding. I just need a scapegoat for the time being. Give Kaeding five more yards and I'd be watching overtime right now. I still don't know why they kicked with 8 seconds left. :wtf
Two plays changed the game: the bullshit call on Florence, and the interception/fumble for a first down. I'm used to it, I'm a Charger fan.

Yeah, they missed that one. It had to be on the back side of the play for them to miss a blatant punch to the head like that...

I don't give a crap if the officials missed the call on the Patriots. It's a freakin' playoff game; be a man and walk back to the huddle. What Florence did was open and obvious and he deserved to be called for it. It might be that the Patriots deserved a call on the play, too, but that doesn't make the call against Florence bogus. Truly, if Florence thought the Patriots had committed a penalty, he would have been better off to walk away and take the penalty -- that would have been a team-oriented decision.

It's unfortunate too since Florence played well the entire afternoon, IMO.

No way it's the kicker's fault. 54 yards is crazy tough. Chargers should have gotten better field position. Oh well, they have the whole offseason to think about it. I'm sure they can come up with a scapegoat in that amount of time. :lol

Marty lost it but the team didnt help. They took forever getting the play off that set them up in fg range, at least twenty seconds. They should have just spiked the ball after Gates caught that first ball. That, and the 0 timeouts, lost the game, player and coaches fault. By the way, did anyone see that interview with LT after the game? Trying to explain why he acted like a bitch after the game, sounded like he was bout to lose it, ala Romo. Said he got pissed cause NE players were doing the Merrimen dance at mid field. I hate the Pats but hate that celebration even more

The Chargers as a team had a lot of lapses of concentration and discipline that cost them.
I forget, who does that fall on again? Oh yeah, the coach. Chokeheimlicher strikes again.

Not running the ball more is why they lost..
