Nope, his teammates were ready to shoot the ball, but Kobe didn't even dare look to pass. Phoenix almost took the lead if not for somehow good enough defense.
It'd be a mistake for any player to think that he needs to be able to shoot the ball in order to contribute. It's also not particularly shocking that Kobe doesn't yet trust his teammates at the end of a must-win game. If they keep it up you'll see him start to pass out of those situations.

The refs fucked your team, even though Amare got bailed out of an obvious charge for what would have been his third foul and Kobe got hacked with no whistle almost as many times as the Laker fans think he did. You just sound like a loser. If your team didn't want officiating to come into play, it might have helped not to start celebrating at the end of the first quarter.
