Chicago would have to get more salary back. As you have it, they give up Nocioni & Duhon & get only Scola in return, besides having to make the salaries match up, I'm sure Chicago would want other players & picks for Nocioni. Nocioni signed at $6 mil a year & Duhon is making $3.5 for next year, & Scolas rights dont have any monetary value, so about $9 mil in salaries would need to get to Chicago somehow.

You could always S&T Scola. That would add salary. Of course, I'm not sure if two players can be S&Ted in the same trade. But if Scola commands about 4-5M then Scola + Barry would work.

What I'm saying is that, he has Barry going to Cleveland, not Chicago. IMO it would be a lot easier to cut the Cavs out & just make it a SA/Chicago trade.

If the Bulls wanted both Butler & Beno or maybe a S&T of Ely, then the trade could be expanded where SA gets Nocioni, Duhon & Khrypa or take out Ely & Khrypa & SA gets Noc & Duhon for Scola, Barry, Beno Butler & a pick. Either way all the trades mentioned here work out on the trade checker.

He's restricted, Cleveland will not let him go cheaply. Someone would have to offer him over the MLE for the Cavs not to match & all we have is the MLE to spend which means no Sasha.
