Guys, how in the world can you endure games like these? Its so emotionally draining for serious Spurs fans (and Im not even a hardcore Spurs fan yet)

I kinda feel like a disemboweled fighting rooster, still dead game and willing to fight, but its body is too shredded up to continue fighting anymore.

Its an exaggeration, but you know what I mean. I cant imagine how bad the 90s Spurs fans must have felt after those gruelling Jazz and Rockets series.

I think we'll be just fine. I've said since the beginning of the series, if the Jazz are going to win a game it'll be game 3. Granted, I didn't like getting blown out like that...but we usually bounce back tremendously after an embarrassing loss. The game was handed to the Jazz on a silver platter, we couldn't keep Duncan on the court with all the BS fouls getting called. And for that matter, there were BS calls on both sides I don't know what the hell was going on there. But I do know this, we got blown out in Phoenix didn't we? and what happened in that series? It's all good, we got this.

Injuries are the only part of this analysis that is valid. Anything else is more like superstition or the belief that if a flipped coin comes up heads ten times in a row that the odds are better than 50-50 that the next flip will show tails.

Otherwise, we could simply mail in a surrender document and forget about playing the games. In reality, each game has its own dynamic and can be won or lost via a myriad of 'plays' and 'breaks' and errors. Generally in a 7game series the team with the best players win. Period.

I'm not saying it's broken, but this is where the wrist talk is coming from.

Oberto's wrist examined: Spurs center Fabricio Oberto underwent a cautionary X-ray after appearing to injure his right wrist early in the third quarter, a team spokesman said. Oberto, who had five points and four rebounds in 26 minutes, grimaced in pain after mishandling a pass from Duncan.

The Spurs said after the game the results of the X-ray weren't available.

Oberto left the game holding his wrist with 10:41 left in the third. He returned with 5:44 left in the period after Duncan picked up his fourth foul.

In the replay it looks like Boozer deflected the pass and also hit the hand of Oberto.
Still, if it's his wrist that's trouble. If it's one of his fingers, he should be ok. AK has been playing with a fractured thumb the entire playoffs.
