If the Spurs don't come out strong in the first five minutes of the third quarter, then we're going to a game 6.

Jazz TOTALLY outplayed the Spurs in the second quarter.

Yup.

However, I'd rather be in our position than yours.

Giving up way too many offensive boards. Not a good way to end the half. Hopefully they come out in the 3rd and play like they did in the 1st.

Well, I, for one, won't feel comfortable until the clock reads all zeros. We've all seen them blow large leads before.

Yup, and the Jazz have been COLD. They'll make a run in the third on Fisher's back...

No celebrations until the game is OVER.

Corn on the Colb,

So what is the Jazz's plan for this offseason concerning their swingmen? Draft another one? FA? Or just stick with what they have? It's obviously a hole. I like Fisher...but they need a bit more than just him. And this is a draft that is RICH with wings.

Spurs play best with the underdog mentality.
They need to feel they are fighting for it. Remeber all those games where we would lead by 15, 26, 34 pts?? and then bomb the last 5 mins or struggle to pull out a 2 pt win?

If it helps bear the bitching, JazzFan, the bitching comes from fear about your team's ability to come back as much as poor play or knowing the Spurs penchant for half-assing it and blowing huge leads.

I certainly, for one, don't expect that our shots will fall all through and that Utah's shots won't start falling. They are too aggressive on the boards not to gain some advantage from that.

Spurs are playing sloppy, lackadaisical ball right now. The announcers can praise all they want, but the Spurs coasted for a lot of that quarter and their defense hasn't been anywhere near as good as it should be - much more to do with the Jazz missing their shots than the Spurs playing amazing D.

I know it's an irrelevant thing to wonder, but I think it's a lot different if he were healthy.

He's been keeping Parker in front of him somewhat well (he's never been able to finish so easily, he's hit a lot of J's in the first 4 games) and so I think it'd be a 4-7 point game right now if he were healthy.

Yeah, I just can't see where he's gone in the playoffs. He thrives more in a faster game like in the Warriors series, but he always seems to get his against the Spurs. So I don't get it. Maybe fatigue. It's a longer season than we've had in a while, and it has to be his longest ever. When he was with Detroit, he was a benchman, so it definitely couldn't have effected him the way it may have this year.
