Prices have to drop. People are crazy asking $5000 for seats on row 25! I saw a single seat today on the lower level for $140. I think it was on there.

those are prices for resellers trying to rip you off to make a buck, not from the Spurs themselves.

I've gone to 2 games this postseason which is pretty much my quota, now the HD big screen is going to be my ticket... besides, the Spurs should clean this up in 5. Should.

The Spurs don't have any control over who wants to resell their tickets on Stubhub, TicketsNow, or whoever, and they don't care how much they sell it for. The Spurs get their money from the original sell, and after that they don't care. It's called a free market system... utilizing the economic factors of supply and demand.

The ticket exchange is set up BY the Spurs for this very reason. They do not just condone it- they facilitate it.

They generally get a few back but will not announce when they will release them. Some here have had success on gameday, even the last time the Finals rolled around.

they are now down to $103+ for game 1 tickets, with several available for $110 and under.

It's funny how you can buy a ticket at the box office, turn around and try to sell it at three times face value, and get arrested for scalping.

Do the same thing online and you're StubHub.

Or the Spurs themselves. Perfectly legal to sell your season ticket for the game online for a price of your choosing at spurs.com - and the Spurs will be happy to take a healthy portion, earning money on a ticket they already sold.

not only will ticket prices go down, but overall ratings as well......

if spurs win : biggest bore and loss of ratings, advertisers will run away

if cavs win : everyone wins, ratings soar, and league is grand again

so....spurs fans....don't you want to work for the overall good, do a great service for the league, and just lose all these games?

You've got it all wrong... the NBA has to establish a Rivalry first.

The Spurs beat the Cavs in 2007. Cavs aquire some more talent, and beat the Spurs in 2008.

That's how you market it.

But that's actually kind of low for what I've seen people asking for the first couple of rows.

I'd wait till about 2 to 3 hours before game time. People will be scrambling to sell their tickets. TicketMaster will probably let out a lot then too.

$78 per ticket now for Game 1.:smokin Game 2, which is the one i'm trying to get, is still at $125. Hopefully they come down 'cause I can't go to Game1.

Anyone know the time that Spurs Ticket Exchange stops selling tickets before a game? I thought it was about two to three hours before game time.

Do the same thing online and you're StubHub.I don't understand all the rules. Dan Synder has said he will prosecute any Redskin season ticket holder who sells tickets for more than face value. StubHub is the only authorized reseller for them, and you can't sell for more than face value on it.

^^seriously. i almost had a panic attack when i found 2 pairs listed there for $150. i considered buying both pairs and reselling to make money to be able to buy tickets to game 2 - but instead i shared the info here like a good Samaritan. i still wonder if someone from here is the one that bought the other pair....

I agree, especially for a Finals game that is a tremendous deal...but the point is that it's still bullshit to pay 150 for two tickets worth 30 bucks face value (or whatever the prices are), and especially bullshit that people are allowed to legally scalp under the guise of an "online ticket broker" or whatever.

Actually the cheap tickets are $29 each and then the next lowest price is $79.

Thanks, Kori for posting. Just got three tickets together for $85. No bargain, but I was able to get three together without having to park myself on the computer at work tomorrow, which is usually impossible anyway.

It says will call available. Does that mean I pick them up at will call at ATT center?

When I talked to Tickets Now on the phone in the past, they said if the tickets were emailable, they would email them - otherwise you could pick them up at the box office. But you guys who bought tickets are going to have to talk to them and confirm the situation in your specific case.
