I hear he's a restricted FA and may not be brought back if Charlotte decides to draft a SF next week.

Would there be any interest in bringing him here to eventually replace Bowen?

Gerald Wallace can't shoot, and missed more games in the last two years (37) than Bowen has in 6 years (23). He's a fucking scrub who plays a lot of minutes on a bad team, and appears to be better than he really is.

I don't know what kind of player Wallace is, except to say that some team (bucks?) will pay him $8M...or certainly more than the Spurs could afford.

My guess is that there's no way he's a Spur unless he signs a one-year tender with the Bobcats and opts for unrestricted free agency in 08....then the Spurs have a shot at him.

Next...guy is a scrub who got some run on a terrible team. Temper expectations accordingly.

What's Shane Battier contract? I hope the Spurs FO consider this guy to replace Bowen. He can shoot 3's and play defense!
