I've changed my approach to music over the years. Before, I was the guy always seeking out new artists and music. Now, I wait for people to emerge and search for peripherals. Yeah there are artists in every genre that never make it big who are better technically and artistically, but I have been so disappointed over the years that I've given up on most. I've taken a break from music for the most part.

And usually, a peripheral is better than the major artist who's getting the most play. But, one thing that has to stay consistent is production, so I have no issue searching for beats in this genre to add in bulk.
