I forget what happened to my first Static X cd. There were a lot of cool tunes I could get off of that one.

I have a mix of:

Air
Balligomingo
Bent
Chemical Brothers
Deep Dish
FC Kahuna
Goldfrapp
Groove Armada
Nine Inch Nails
Prodigy

Most of them I jus have one or two songs that are rally uptempo. I have a lot of mellow songs too.

A lot of the groups I listed have both type of songs. I just put my phone on shuffle and if it's too mellow, I go to the next song.

Besides, I wear a heart rate monitor, so I know where my heart rate needs to be regardless of the song's tempo.

Have you heard the new Chemical Brothers? Is it as goos as their others?

Usually, I watch tv when I'm doing cardio. Can't get any more mellow than that! Yet, I still manage to keep my heart rate up.

No, I only have a few songs of their's. I'll have to look for it.

Sometimes I'll just listen to songs I really like and let my mind wander when I'm doing cardio, regardless of whether they mellow or more hardcore ... it really doesn't make that much of a difference to me.
