Pathetic effort so far tonight. I would say I'm surprised but the Mavs always seem to kill us in the regular season. Tim looked like he actually gave a shit out there in the 2nd. Manu always gives a shit. NOBODY else has showed up thus far. Pathetic D is the biggest problem right now. The Spurs might as well stay on the other end of the court and save themselves some energy if the they're going to play pathetic D like this.

When it comes down to it, ever since this era began c.2000, the mavericks rely on free throw shooting contests to beat us. There have been exceptions, and they have beat the ever living shit out of us some times, but for the most part, games come down to this.

Not all the times do the FT shooting contests begin in the first quarter, but this bodes horribly for the spurs. All we can do is hope the refs want to keep some ratings and swallow their fucking whistles.

BTW, that out of bounds call on Duncan was sheer garbage.
