Tau lost the third place game to Siena in OT 97-93.

Tiago had 15 points, 2 rebounds and 5 TOs in 22 minutes off the bench.

So basically, Tau got the same Euroleague result as last season.

CSKA is up one at halftime over Maccabi in the final on NBAtv.

Honestly, I didn't know Garnett won an Olympic gold medal, when was that?
Anyway winning the gold for US wasn't so hard back then and you can't analyze the level displayed by a player in a tournament when every game is like an all star game and that player's team wins by 30 or 40 every time.

Obviously, since Scola won a gold medal, that's not good enough for me now is it?

Who gives a fuck 'bout what you think, for Scola the Olympics were the most important tournament of his life and he played the best basketball of his career there, so what I was tryng to say is that you can't call a player a choker when that player plays the best basketball of his career on the most important tournament of his career.

Judging by the Olympics...Tim Duncan is an incompetent basketball player...and by your definition...he is a choker, because he has no gold medal...

Duncan cares more about the NBA championship than the Olympics and he's won 4 of them, so no I don't think Duncan is a choker.

Pau doesn't have the mind of a champion; Marc, yes. He's a real warrior, and his basketball IQ isn't much lower than Pau's.

I'm sure he'll be a starter next season in Memphis (if he comes to NBA)

You are right, the second best Center, PF on the Brazilian Team is Rafael Araujo(Remember? He played for Utah Jazz). So was Tiago Spliter against Dirk and Kaman and more two 7´0 players from Germany team. He did what he could, without help he played a solid game.

If the numbers are these, no way he could have accepted to play for spurs!!!
However, this case should give the "suggestion" to chance the rule abiout the draft...
I actually think the amounts regarding salary cap and the money for first draft choices are good rules...and you can't change them totally because the thing works only if everybody makes money.
Imho the rule could change in this way, for draft choices : after at least two years away from the club that drafted the first choice, to the team should be given the chance to match any amount of money offered to the player, avoiding the restrictions...like for 2^ round choices.

The point is that nba teams, in case of market value absolutely evidently larger than the one provided by the draft numbers, must have the chance, at least after two years, to compete in the free market overseas...
