lmao beat you to it. But I liked the previous one as a reminder for my personal life. Not basketball centered.
PS: had it since the 05 championship run btw.

it doesn't matter what happens at any point in the first 3 quarters..Duncan is by far the most clutch big man in the NBA, and one of the clutchest big men of all-time..

I don't understand why there should be a thread to acknowledge whats already known.
what he did tonight on defense with 5 fouls at the end of the game was AWESOME. and also the clutchest thing of the game, even before mason's 3.

Tim Duncan is the man!! Everyone should appreciate him cos once he's gone, Spurs will never be the same again,so instead of arguing whos better between Manu and Tony, lets appreciate the man who made so many things possible for this team.

With five fouls!
And what, like 8 or 9 boards in the fourth?
:worthy:
I was about to post the same thing.
WOW!!!
Tim Duncan with 20 points, 10 boards, and eight assists. Despite struggling early, he scored the two baskets preceding Mason's Money Shot with Laker defenders all over him. I think this puts to rest whether ANY Laker can guard Tim, for a while yet.

Duncan Still One Of The Best
ESPN research
Tim Duncan has produced a double-double in six straight games. He is still among the most consistent performers in the NBA. His 27 double-doubles are tied for third in the NBA this season. Duncan, 32, is the only one in the top five over the age of 25.
Most Double-Doubles This Season
Player PPG RPG Doubles
Dwight Howard 19.9 14.0 32
David Lee 15.5 11.4 30
Tim Duncan 20.4 10.2 27
Chris Paul* 21.2 5.5 27
Chris Bosh 23.3 9.9 24
*Paul averages 11.0 assists per game
One noticeable aspect to Duncan's game is his unselfishness. He is averaging 3.5 assists per game this season, the third-highest average of his career. He won the NBA MVP award in 2001-02 and 2002-03 -- the two seasons in which he averaged the most assists of his career.

Tim Duncan dunked over Roy Hibbert with 4.6 seconds left to give San Antonio Spurs coach Gregg Popovich his 700th career win with a thrilling 100-99 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Saturday night.
Duncan let out a roar after throwing down the last of his 19 points over Hibbert, who blocked Duncan’s first attempt with time winding down before the Spurs’ perennial All-Star grabbed the ball back and went over Hibbert for the winning score.

It's about time this board starts giving him his due. At his age he has to pace himself throughout the regular season, but when it's needed most, in the playoffs, you can see that he's still one of the elite of the elite.
So much for the genius timvp essentially saying Ginobili has to be the go to guy in this series because the Mavs have two big centers to throw at Duncan. I told him that Duncan would score at will and so far he has. Just like he always has against the Mavs.
People have become swept up in Ginobili fever and caught up in overrating Nowitzki (as always) and forgot that a healthy and rested Duncan is still easily the best player in this series.
