Tim Duncan is pretty good...
When he calls for the ball...even Manu Ginobili listens![]()
Come on this is long overdue. We have Manu with his own thread. For some ODD reason we have Scola with his own thread?????
Time to give OFFICIAL love to the best player in franchise history. When he has a BIG game like tonight lets post here and anything else Duncan related. Pics, favorite TD memories, whatever you got, lets show #21 our love.![]()

Yea I saw him play and I must say he can play some basketball.
He can hit some shots etc.
Can't wait to see how good he is when he starts playing defense.
Hey dumbass, you are posting in the official Tim Duncan is AWESOME board.
Why not start a "cancer is bad" thread?
I'm sorry. I didn't realize I'd wandered into the Tim Duncan is AWESOME board and that you wuz the law 'round these here parts. Do I have until sundown to skedaddle?
Seriously, go back and read what you just wrote and if you don't feel embarassed, you should probably turn the computer off and go to bed. I never said he wasn't awesome, but if he continues to play the way he played against Brandon Bass tonight in his BIG game, you won't be thinking he's awesome after one or two rounds and an exit.
Was aimed at OP but ok, w/e
Duncan has never played the absolute best 1 on 1 post defense (though he plays well in that regard on balance), weak side help esp. against the pick-and-roll is his specialty which is usually a more useful skill set, maybe not this year considering the recent moves. KT can man up the Amare et al when he is ready for prime time. I'm not losing any sleep.
whatever, Bass had an outburst. Read as much as you want into that.
someone give tim duncan the championship trophy and call this season off now
no one, no one will stop tim duncan from repeating
It should be pointed out that Tim was getting absolutely MUGGED all night on the block. Meanwhile Dirk-a-Lirk was living on the FT line.
Awesome idea to have a TD thread!
TD was especially solid in today's game! And his clutch FTs were icing on the cake.
Duncans stats for the last 7 winning games avgs
22.14ppg 13rpg 3.71apg 3bpg
if he continues to play like this till end of the season and spurs winning 80% of games left = MVP MVP MVP
Some people say he is boring, I think Tim Duncan is the bestest.

i know duncan228 and fellow duncan fans will love it.![]()
I was thinking about that as well. They are probably going to give it to Kobe, the golden Boy, but Timmy is sitting at 20.1 and 11.6 right now. If he finishes at say 21 and about 12, he'll get some votes for MVP for sure.
Tim Duncan has been and still is now... THE BEST BASKETBALL PLAYER IN THE WORLD
Tim Duncan is a champ...bottom line. He has class too. Never do you see him crying of complaing like Dirk and Cuban do. He takes a loss like a pro. SPURS BABY DRIVE FOR FIVE!!!!!!
I will get on board with this, TIMMY IS THE FVCKING MAN!
Shrooms are bad for you.......
Delusions are OK as long as they keep bumping the thread.![]()
Me > Kwame Brown
Thus, I'm better than Tim Duncan.
TD is great when he isn't showing his age and getting drop-step faked like Bass and Jefferson have done lately. Other than that it's TD, what'd you expect?
Thanks.
This is one of those games I keep handy to replay.![]()
Sweet, i just saved that one to the old hard drive.![]()
Even Dirk had some good things to say about Duncan last night.
This is just a small piece of the article, I just wanted Dirk's quotes.

Nowitzki Praises Duncan As Spurs Win
By ELIZABETH WHITE
The Associated Press
SAN ANTONIO -- Dirk Nowitzki has seen this before from Tim Duncan. The Spurs star had another typically excellent game. His totals: 31 points, 15 rebounds _ good enough to lead the San Antonio Spurs to a 97-94 win over their in-state rival on Thursday night.
"He was just being himself," said Nowitzki, who had 28 points in the loss.
"(Duncan) had us going all night," Nowitzki said. "He was definitely a big factor for them."
