Manu did the same thing against the Mavs.

Yeah, but that was after Terry was being dirty all game, and has a nice history of being a bitch. Duncan, on the other hand, hasn't done shit to Shaq.

Amare picked up that foul because he let Thomas walk all the way to the block. Will D'Antoni light into him in the huddle? Probably not... that's why he'll have 3 fouls in the 1st half the next game.

I'm still a little peeved that Bowen has zero fouls and he's hit Nash a few times.

Some of the shots he's taken have been forced and out of rhythm. He's obviously not shooting well, so he needs to do some other things, like drive the ball to the basket, maybe get some kickouts to the corners.

Hopefully Pop makes a few adjustments at the half:

Manu with the ball at the top is't really working. He's 4-12. They're being physical and he's not getting the calls. Tony pick-n-roll with Shaq's man or 4-down is a better option at this point.

Sit Finley. They guy can't seem to hit, and he's useless on defense. Grant Hill is 6-7 with 12 points. We need more Udoka out there.

No more Damon. He doesn't seem willing or able to shoot, and he's useless on D. Vaughn would be a better option.

Transition D needs to be sharper. Hill got back a couple of times and scored before the Spurs managed to settle their defense.

He is against other teams, except of course when he plays us. I thought the defense has been poor against him and several of his buckets have been put back of offensive rebounds. I've seen Tim and Thomas just stand there watching him pull down rebounds. That needs to stop. On the defensive end, he's changed shots for our guards but he blatantly hacked Duncan, and to his benefit, the refs didn't call it.

Suns fans, I don't watch suns games outside of against the spurs, does stoudemire have the same issue with getting into foul trouble against other teams or is it unique to the spurs.
No he commits dumb fouls regularly but he also draws WAY to much attention to himself when he does get whistled so he tends to play with a target on his back. He needs to learn how to play with 3 and 4 fouls.

Ugh, of course Shaq has his best game of the past season and half today against the Spurs. :pctoss

Spurs need to remember they are playing the Suns. They can get a high % shot almost 99% of the time on the offensive end. Yet they seem to be settling for contested jumpshots. If they passed it around a little more they'd be ok. And Parker, please remember you're being guarded by Steve Nash!!! You need to be more aggressive.

No, Tim has come out and publicly said he doesn't like afternoon games. That is the best way to ensure some sort of mental issue with games like that. I don't know why he would say that because the Spurs now don't typically play well during any afternoon games. Good teams, bad teams, it doesn't ever matter.
