It's working fine for me, but anything posted in the technical forum will get looked at by the tech people.Yea i'll keep checking on it once in awhile. It's weird, the photos from the gallery work but not the custom avatars for some reason. Very weird, but i'm sure the Tech. Admins can look into it. :rolleyes

Is the image you are trying to upload as the avatar on your computer?
How big is the image?

Is the image you are trying to upload as the avatar on your computer?
How big is the image?Yes it's on my computer. And the size and KB is fine for sure, not to mention that's not the problem.
It doesn't even go that far on the loading page to say the file is to big or large, it doesn't load at all for some reason.

The only time it doesn't load for me is if I try to upload like a wallpaper-sized image.
Send me the picture you are trying to upload to

The avatar i'm trying to put in moves, the forum sets and allows moving avatars right?
So for some reason, just that avatar does that...
EDIT: I tried another moving avatar and it also doesn't work

We have it set for no animated avatars right now. So that explains it.Nope. I put in a different moving avatar and it works BUT it says no animated avatars allowed. There your right.
But for these two other ones, which i have so many, those two moving ones won't even load.
Sorry Kori to get into all this, just trying to help the clause. As martini was also having the same problem. :greedy

We have it set to no animation for now. That setting actually allows some animation (something weird with vBulletin), which is why one of yours works.
Later I'll switch it to all animation is okay, but not right now.

I'm assuming you're already aware of this ... but in case you're not, the quote box in the Pistons section has white lines around it due to having a different color background I presume.

Don't know if it's been reported yet, but the hyperlink button is not working correctly.
It gives you an option to drop in the text for the link, but not the link itself. You only get the one prompt window.

When I quote a post, the code in the message box appears like: [QUOTE=Johnny_Blaze_47;2428651]
If I submit with this code, the quote box does not contain "Original Message Posted By:" It only works if you delete the numbers.
Sorry if this has already been posted or addressed.

I used to be able to post the url of a picture in the reply box, highlite it, and then click the little image icon and it would add the tags ... now it doesn't do it...you have to either manually add the tags, or enter it in the script bar pop-up thingy. Is that an editor option?
eh ... I guess that one doesn't really matter one way or the other. It's just me being lazy, and good at losing copy & pastes. :oops :lol

I noticed there is a new feature where you can change your thread title when viewing it in the forum rather than going to the thread and going advanced to edit the name, but how do you get it exactly to work? I double click on the name and it opens for editing, but by the time I can fix it, I'm directed to the thread. How do you do it?

Since the cat is out of the bag, here's the anouncement:
If you connect to ST.com through a mobile device, it will detect this and override the style/skin settings and display the forum in a very basic, mobile device friendly way. The url is the same as on your computer: http://www.spurstalk.com
It should work with most devices, if it doesn't with yours, then PM me and I'll see if we can add your device to the detect list.
Only bad side to this is that for the mobile skin to work it has to be user selectable, so you can see it in the drop down menu at the bottom left of every ST.com page. Don't click on it while using your computer, since it does not look good, and you might have problems getting to the default style (well I added a link at the top to help those of you who just can't help themselves).
All constructive criticisms are welcome (emphasis on constructive!).

You need to tell me which device you are using and I'll add it to the exception list. In that case it will not be recognized as a mobile device anymore.

Well the idea is to make it load faster when you're not on a WiFi or home network (just using GPRS packet data or in the case of the iPhone EDGE).
I can put the iphone in the exception list, but then it will not recognize it as a mobile device anymore and will display the forum using the "normal" skins.
Is that what you and other iphone users want?
