Whether the kid can create his own shot at the next level will have more of an effect on his draft status than some DUI charge.
According to Yahoo! News ;
It started with a rape scandal with their lacrosse team, now one of their best basketball players in Duke history has been charged with driving while intoxicated. He also made a illegal U-Turn and got his license taken away for 30 days. He got out on bail for $1,000. He is going to be in court on July 17. His blood alcohol level was .11 when the most when it's legal is .08. He was arrested around 1 A.M. this morning. Does this affect his role in the Draft that takes place in only 15 days?<------Re

Good Point.
that is why most spurs are not born in usa
I agree. Besides, some athletes have gotten into much worse trouble than that, and if they can still perform well, teams are willing to give them second or third shots.
Of course it does. Now, the Portland Trailblazers will seriously think about drafting him with the #3 pick.
Frickin' thugs and their hip hop culture have no respect for authority. If Re had the smarts to match his athletic prowess, he'd be a top five pick. He should be more worried of showing a good image to teams in the draft than impressing his gangster homies.

Damn, trouble = Dukie with a motor vehicle.
According to this, things aren't looking up for the Dookie.
lol..who cares about red ..hes just gonna end up a guy that comes off the bench and hits a couple 3's every night..he can't play defence and he can't create his own shot
As for his draft stock...he'll still be drafted. Its not like all teams care if you break laws. Even Marcus Vick got an NFL contract.
I doubt his stock could've fallen any further than it had before this incident took place.
