both hit big shots but horry would be my choice, at least dude would never feign a disease of his daughter in order to leave my team for LA
Who was the better role player?

Horry, since he never got raped in labor negotiations.
Robery Horry. Bailed out three top dogs in Hakeem, Shaq & Duncan.
Derek on the other hand, not so much.

Plus Horry was actually a damn good defensive player in his day whereas Derek Fisher was a traffic cone
3 of Fisher's rings are also thanks to Horry. Horry did all the dirty work, played defense, rebounded and hit big shots. He was pretty much the ultimate role player.
What idiots voted for Fisher?
Horry the guy dat ya give the ball ifa ya need a game winning 3 n fish if you only chance be a miracle shot. horry better overall player but dey both give somtin a little different if ya comparing they clutch factor
he earn his ring ina 2001 wit crazy 3pt shootin
they both hit big shots and a 6'10 guy who can shoot 3's is more preferable than a PG who's like 6'0 something. horry caused a mass of matchup troubles to the opposing team when he played on the court.
Not only that, he was the perfect 4. Really gave Hakeem, Shaq & Duncan some room in the post as they could dish it out to the shooters. If they need someone to rebound or guard the paint, Horry would always do that.
Fisher was always a def liability and the guards (Kobe, Shaw and more recently Artest) had it hide his fat a$$ more often than not.
Robert Horry's one of the greatest role players of all time, he was clutch, played defense, and rebounded well in his day. Derek Fisher was only clutch.
Robert Horry.
votes for WWE Swisher:

Venti Quattro
both clutch, both made big shots, but as a player horry no question
If a role player ever got consideration for Hall of Fame, Horry would be that guy. Dude is most clutch role player of all time.
Horry SHOULD be considered for the Hall of Fame. The guy has more rings than Jordan, with three different teams. In the modern age, that's unheard of.
He may not have been the cornerstone of any of those teams, but he was a pivotal piece and played a role that those teams might not have won without.
There are a lot of staff stuffers who won't make the HoF, so they can't say it's all about the numbers. As far as being a legendary player, I don't think any other player has done more with less. That deserves recognition.
Correction, He will be in the HOF pretty soon. I'm guessing 2015 or 2016.
