Anyone watch Peaky Blinders?

I had heard the name but never checked it out because...of the name. Thought it was something frilly. Saw a preview yesterday and it looks pretty good. About Irish gangs.
Has great reviews. Thinking of putting off a couple other shows to check it out.

My advice is to turn on sub les though. Their accents are so thick that it can be difficult to understand the dialogue sometimes.

Show has the same problem House of Cards had....it took 2 seasons for the main character to get to the top, both of which were great, then show fell off a cliff in season 3.

I watched the first season and didn't like it. Tom Hardy's character is in the next season though so I'll check it out since Alfie is apparently great. I'm going through Boardwalk Empire atm, about to finish Season 4, and its much better (not really a fair comparison where I'm comparing 4 full seasons to only 1 that is 6 ep but still). I think Boardwalk Empire > Breaking bad because its characters are better.

i have 1 episode left in season 1. show's pretty good tbh. sub les are very helpful
