I'll tell you what the media needs to do from a leftist perspective:
- Be nonpartisan. Recognize the corrupt two-party system. Be transparent.
- Stop lying about about foreign policy and US imperialism. Stop acting hawkish and pushing for war with Iran and Venezuela.
- Be more understanding of the working class and rust belt, the "forgotten man" like Trump says. Address their concerns.
- Talk about policy and that matters.

Summary: Corporate media is ing trash. People are hungry for the truth. That's why people are going to YouTube and other independent sources.
