Forbes unconscious in the first half and Rockets bricking everything is the only reason this game was close tbh

Elbow on Walker should’ve been flagrant and 2nd technical on Harden tbh

I don't know how many 3s they shot. More than most games... But you're probably right. Pop zigs when he should zag and vice versa.
Felt like the last 5 possessions or more! That could be wrong but it seemed like they passed up some easy buckets to go all in on threes

The whole second half, when we went frigid but didn't try to get anything going to the hole.

literally why I'm so angry after every win. Getting fluke wins to the Kings, Suns for example. Does nothing for this team long term.

Nah it was good defense in the 1st along with lucky shot by Forbes. 2nd half Spurs lost the 50/50 and unlucky the 3pt shot didn’t fall. Spurs could’ve had this.

some great coaching in this game, mostly the 2nd half

-lets Mills/Forbes get raped by Westbrook in the 1st half
-completely went away from LMA who had it going
-refused to make any lineup changes while the spurs are getting demolished to start the 3Q
-doesnt play LW4 at all until the start of the 4th
-yanks him 2 minutes later for Marco
-benches Murray for large period in the 2nd half
-Marco/Forbes/Derozan lineup in a tight game where Houston is going off in the 2nd half
-decides to play White/Murray way too late
-draws up play for Forbes to tie the game
-closes with Marco instead of Walker

i dont even know what to say anymore. calling him a senile old got is getting stale
I spurstalk likes to on Pop. But it was legit a coaching loss.

The man had Forbes and Belinelli out there in the 4 to protect a lead? WTF.

Gives up the lead and then brings in Murray and White.

    Pop is entering Brown/Jackson/Sloan territory.

He was due $124 Million for the next three years, dumbass. We didn't want his contract. For that price he would have to be doing that every night. He's not. He's averaging 15.6 ppg.
yeah, spurs shouldn't pay cp3 so they can save that money for AD in the offseason

and cp3's deal expires after next season it's a player option too so cp3 could opt out and go retire on lebron's team.

stop acting he's like the spurs would have to pay him $40 million for each of the next five seasons.

spurs should trade for him and make sure that at least diallo is in the deal. diallo and noel preferably.

Of course he should have been tossed. Liked Murray telling him to off. This game was a bad loss because we gave it away. Even the last purposely missed ft was lame and Harden just shoved LMA out of the way.

No Spurs No! No Spurs No!!

Not e true. Forbes got hot when the spurs were already ahead with a comfortable lead. It's amazing what no pressure allows certain players to become.

Forbes non stop penchant for fouling particularly in the second half shouldn't be ignored.

The only thing worse than Forbes going 0-for-6 to start the game is him going 6-for-6 and then spending the rest of his minutes acting like he's the reincarnation of Reggie Miller while playing no defense so he doesn't get in any more foul trouble

leave it to Flopovich, Scrubinelli, DeFrozan and Fryn Borbes to lose a game that they were leading by 20+ at halftime. I knew they'd find a way to lose, that's what losers do

Yep, maddening just lazy offense. Might have won if our guys weren’t fixated on chucking up threes

Don’t think we’re on the same page here. The original reply to the thread was saying that Forbes going 5/5 from three in the first half and the Rockets bricking everything is the only reason they won by two instead of getting obliterated. Didn’t matter when Forbes got hot and yes, Forbes constant fouling contributed to the Rockets coming back in the second half. Not sure how my statement was wrong.

Whatever whatever... I don’t feel like this loss was a waste. Although Pop managed to it up with his Marco over Lonnie crap, at least some of our guys showed some heart. My man Murray told that fake ass flopper was up. Gotta love that. Don’t know.. I kinda feel good after this. Now we just need Pop to quit overthinking it. Just play DJ, White and Lonnie a lot more! And Marco less or not at all.
