Mlls has come into this season in great shape and motivated.I hate to say it but wombat is pretty steady off the pine leading the bench mob
Agreed but his chucking still puts me at unease, especially in a close game. Oh well, better him chucking in the 4th than DeChokan, I guess.

Patti Curry wth
Where is Bryn starting to rank All Time for Pops Pets
I'm not Argentine but you seem quite touchy just because I'm surprised at Dinwhatever's play.
Wow, triggered. Relax dude.
You know how hard it is for me to pretend like I am not one of these people![]()
Didn’t get to see the game. But any reason why White only played 21 minutes? I’m pretty sure he sucked in the first half but why did Forbes play more than him when he was waaay worse?
Is this the first Spurs game you've read about this season? This has been an ongoing theme.

Its just pops rotations per par. White played really well I though hits some tough 3s and led the comeback with Jakob and Lonnie. It's just pop has to have his pets out there
Missed the game. But, hey, better late than never.![]()
Heh. Your sig pics are always a welcome addition to a thread.
The +/- doesn't always tell you anything, but sometimes it does. Lonnie was +25 tonight, in 14 minutes of play. The Spurs outscored the Nets by 25 during his minutes, and this game it was definitely because Lonnie was on the court. When he checks in, there is an immediate lift in energy and toughness. You can see that the other guys feel it and start playing with some pride. Lonnie didn't shoot well, but he made the team better. Poeltl was an absolute BEAST in the paint - to the point that the Nets started avoiding it altogether. A couple of times they challenged him after he'd established that, and it didn't go well for them. White most def looks better when he's on with that bunch. And Patty's lack of D doesn't hurt as badly when he has help - that group of bench misfits (to Pop) provided defensive cover, and Patty provided offense.
nice win ... pops rotations still put me off ...
Yeah, I understand. During that comeback he wasn't volume chucking - he just shot badly. But they didn't call his name a lot. In that limited situation, I like that better than hearing DDR's name over and over. Or Bryn's. Or Beli's. He played respectable D, and mostly let the other guys do their thing. The results were good, and I'm not sure that would have happened with several of the other guys out there.
Many thanks for the summary bro! I and my sig girls thank you!
Glad to see Lonnie is effective even when his shot is not falling. Of our young guys he has the most long-term potential. In a few years Lonnie, Dj, White, Poeltl, and yes Forbes in the right role, could be a real boon. If KJ or Luka emerge the Spurs could have a good young core. But at least one and hopefully two have to emerge as a borderline All Star at least for the Spurs to advance. It seems Lonnie has the best shot. I think White (when healthy) is good, but near his ceiling. I wonder if DJ will ever really be an able shooter or field general. Lonnie, I pin my hopes on you.
Irving + Durant + LeVert, they will definitely be scary, Dinwiddie was almost out of the league, but good GMs are always working to improve the team, so he's on Nets today.
I've said for a long time now that I would move Keldon onto the roster in place of Beli right now, if the only consideration was the success of the SA Spurs this season. He probably benefits from being in Austin for the whole season.
I've been having my doubts about DJ and whether he can be a feature or just a fill-in. But more and more I can't get away from wondering if he's just one more who could be better on a different team.
The same goes for White - he's not going to be a star, but I still think he has the stuff to be a very solid player for a lot of years. I don't know if you remember Anthony Parker, but he was pretty much written off as not worth much notice. He went to play for Maccabi, and all of a sudden people found out that he was a lot more than that. He came back to the NBA and had 5-6 very solid seasons as a starter, including starting with LeBron in Cleveland. Not a star, but a guy you want on the team. I think White could be that.
Dumb question but hey that’s what I’m here for
is that what they really said? Bc it looks like it lol. Becky is genuinely pissed off.
If Pop is helping the team by tanking then keep home one or two more years. If Pop is actually trying to win then I would do him like Jerry did Landry.
i still wouldn't have a problem with that, given their relative salaries. the problem is having those redundant smurfs on the roster and actually seeing them share the floor
^I would. Patty is paid too much, but Bryn is literally a contender for worst defender in the league. He also seems to get easily taken out of games, becoming visibly frustrated with every bad play or missed shot. You can't count on him.
