tldr: Leading with the top level summit made Kim decide that's the only way to get anything done so regular lower level diplomacy is nonexistent. There is also a fundamental disagreement over what the Singapore statement actually means, so Kim ain't and probably won't be doing . It's really up to Trump to get anything done. Good luck to him.
