Silver needs to come out and say stop to this load managment bull . I get it if you're 35 or old as and need a rest on a back to back, but this got Kawhi resting is pathetic. If you're healthy, you must play. Re ed face making 33M a year and can't play some of the games cause his vagina hurts. Just sad.
The league already looked into it before the season and determined that Kawhi isn't fully healthy, so load management is okay. Same thing applies to other players (Embiid, for example).

Spurs fans don't get to cry about it when their franchise invented it.

Lebron took 2 weeks off when he could have played in the 2014/15 season.

    I don't lie, tbh.
oh, so he took it off because he was dealing with nagging injuries that needed to heal fully? oh okay, so yes, it wasn't simply for "rest" or "load management", it was to recover from injuries

thanks for clarifying what I already made clear

If you are going to play that way then I can also say that Kawhi also rests to take care of a nagging, degenerative, incurable injury, tbh.

I don't recall Duncan at the age of 28 missing over 20 games due to resting. Don't be a homer you are smart enough to know the Spurs were not holding out the big 3 over 20 plus games a year when they were in their 20's. The resting stuff didn't start until Duncan was around 35. Even then the most games he missed was 13 in a season prior to his final season where he missed over 20 plus due to legitimately having a bum knee.

#2 not being healthy is just laughable at this point. He's very healthy. I see nothing wrong with him when he plays. He's very spry on both ends of the court. He's just gaming the system knowing he can get away with it. Anyways it works for him and Clippers so they will keep exploiting until someone beats them.

That's true, dude has a Degenerative Thigh Owie. Contrary to what His Camp said, like 2 days before the draft when he demanded a trade to PATFO. Just after saying he was too hurt to even be with the team behind the bench as they scrapped to get into the playoffs.

He's a 25% 3 point shooter? And the worst defender in the NBA. We'll take Danny Green back for him tbh

Forbes hasn't been shooting well at all this season. Plus, you can find shooters anywhere tbh. He's also literally the worst defender in the NBA and does nothing else at an NBA level.

Why does anybody give a about load management? The NBA regular season has never meant anything, the only difference today is that everybody is now aware of this

fans pay money to go see the game, including the stars. fans tune into the game (and drive ratings) for the same reason.

theres a conflict of interest between the league (prioritizing profit) and the teams (prioritizing long term winning/health of players). the regular season might not mean much for the latter, but the league sees money as money, whether its earned in reg season or postseason. same with fans who pay to see a game. if i bought a ticket because the spurs were coming to down and then on game day i learn that duncan/manu weren't playing for purely load management, i'd be pretty frustrated. im not gonna sit and enjoy watching the spurs take it up the ass because "well i know playoffs matter more"
