No one. We don't have any all stars on this team that the team is worried about appeasing.
Not even the snake could do that.
Pop is bigger than the Spurs franchise, whether you like it or not.
For all the hand wringing, the Spurs are fine whether pop retires this season or next. A couple young players is enough to start over with a new team iden y. Even if Murray, white and Lonnie are wasted by pop the Spurs will have a normal tank period.
People are going crazy to get the Spurs to win 5 more games this season by optimizing minutes. If pop wants to pull a motley team into the playoffs fine, but no player on the roster is going to reverse the long term talent drain on the team. We're looking at 3-5 years out of the playoffs whether pop is good or bad.
Paying rudy gay and murray was not smart
How well did that go for the Jazz?
As ironic as it sounds, I think if DDR demanded a trade the franchise would go nuts
Deron Williams
sure did suck way worse that Sloan ever did tbh
This year's lottery pick.
How well did it go for Williams?
Lonnie. He’s clearly a fan favorite and could add to what nephew started if he demanded a trade
Pop is Jerry Sloaning this franchise right off the cliff. It’s pretty remarkable though. In its purest form. How intelligent people who’ve put 10+ years into this product/franchise and allow a self righteous individual put his ego/legacy over the franchise. Just beautiful. It’s literally Senator Palpatine with no cloak. He’s in a suit every game day, with a smile, hands smelling of stolen money, and he tells the media to scram if he’s ever uncomfortable.
Who theeee F allowed Pop to gain so much control? Pop wouldn’t be a dot on the radar if Timmy chose swimming over basketball.
this, only Duncan could have done that.
